Beautiful antique Japanese knarled wood zelkova (keyaki) stand. The top of the stand has been fixed in the past. On top is a Meiji Period c.1890 buddhist temple bronze 'koro' incense burner. The top is a mythical taoist shishi lion and there are birds in raised relief. c.1890. (incense burner 4" x 4", stand 11" x 8") (incense burner 10cm x 10cm, stand 28cm x 20cm).
