Signed Antique Japanese Carp Vase c.1900
Antique Japanese 'Do-Chu' hand forged bronze alloy carp vase. Do-Chu (metal craft) had its roots in Edo Period (17th and 18th century). The rich color has been achieved by smoked straw during firing. One carp has a bit of age wear. c.1900 (7" diameter x 10") (20cm diameter x 26cm).
