Signed Yoshida Eji Japanese Bronze Flower Vase c.1952

This important signed Yoshida Eji flower vase in the signed original box is by one of Japan's famed and most revered bronze artists. He won the Oriental Art Exhibition Prize in 1932 and designed the gold medal for the 1964 Olympics in Tokyo. The characters on the box read: "Yoshida Eji Saku", (Made by Yoshida Eji) and "Chu Do Ka Bin" (Bronze Flower Vase). Perfect condition. c.1952. (diameter 7½" x 5½") (diameter 19cm x 14cm).
