Noando by Wo Hi Choon aka Seok Dang. He won many prizes in Korea and Japan. We have a newspaper clipping on him that we will include with this painting. The literal meaning of 'noando' is reed and geese painting, but it is a play on words, as 'no an' also means old man at rest, so a painting of geese and reeds symbolized a wish for a comfortable and peaceful old age. The curve of the calligraphy at the top frames the curving geese very nicely. Frame size: 31 x 23.75 inches, 79 x 60 cm; Painting size: 23.5 x 16.25 inches, 60 x 41 cm.
