Bamboo by 100-year-old artist Im Gi Sun
Large Framed Bamboo Painting by 100-year-old artist Im Gi Sun aka Keung Neong, born 1912. The bamboo is an ancient symbol of resilience and integrity. When faced with a strong wind, the bamboo bends but does not break, just as the person with determination and principle, even when pressed down, doesn't give up and resumes their upright posture. Frame: 65 x 28.5 inches, 165 x 72.5 cm; Painting: 50.5 x 22.25 inches, 128.25 x 56.5 cm.
