Scarce Type of Korean Two Unit Chest, 5 Different Woods
All Original and Unrestored Early 20th Century Ichung-nong (Korean Two Unit Stacked Chest) from Cheongju in the North Chungcheong Province. This refined chest is made of no less than five different woods (ginkgo, persimmon, elm, pine, and paulownia), and yet it is quietly opulent, serene and subdued, impressive but not imposing. 45.5 x 30.5 x 15 inches, 115 x 78 x 38 cm. Excellent Condition.
