Japanese Cloisonne Enamel Vase w/ Cherry Blossoms

A striking cloisonne vase made in pre WWII Japan, The motif is that of a cherry tree just coming into its spring bloom with two charming bluebirds. From the shading of the tree foliage, to the soft pinkish white cherry blossoms the artist was able to capture the renewing of life after a long winter season. The vase measures 8.25 in. tall and has nickel plated mounts (light wear) rather then chrome plating that became common after the end of WWII. The condition of the enamel is original mint. No Restoration. Stamped “Made in Japan” Early Showa era. On all my items I offer a 100% money back guarantee if for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase and in most cases will pay for return postage and insurance on domestic orders.
