STAFFORDSHIRE TRANSFERWARE SOUP TUREEN "SIRIUS"

Made by short-lived firm of James and Thomas Edwards between 1839 - 1841. Classic brown color, 7.5 in tall and 10.2 in square. Condition is excellent with one shallow base chip (see image) and a few light use marks. Blind stamped "porcelain opaque."
