Outstanding 19th century Imari Fish-Shaped plate is 15 ½ inches long and 10 inches high. Features central reserves of Samurai and their attendants. Fish head and fin brilliant orange with gilt scale details. Rear features several sea crustacean. Overall excellent condition.

Imari plate 8 ½ inches in diameter of three reserves featuring pastoral scenes originating from late 19th Century. Some minor enamel and gilt losses, otherwise very good condition.

Imari Map Plate late 19th/early 20th Century lobed rectangular form, Size10 in x 11 ¼ in, each region separately molded, written with the names of the island or province including Korea and Ryukyu. In underglaze-blue on crackled light celadon ground. Corner restored.

Pair imari trays, Meiji Period, features figure and garden scene. Each measuring 12 inches x 10 inches x 2 inches high. Border consists of 8 alternating reserves of ho-o birds, a turbulent sea, and flowers.

A HIrado blue and white vase, 19th century, 9 1/2 inches high, of rounded form with fluted neck, painted with landscape scenes depicting a mountain waterfall, village among trees, cranes in flight, and boat making landfall. In excellent overall condition.

Hizen rectangular frame plate signed Higuchi Ta sei late 19th century- Meiji period. Decorated in various colored enamels and gilt, the central well with a peacock and peahen strolling around a flowering garden, the scalloped and angled rim with a flower spread on a geometric pattern dispersed with circular, hexagonal and shaped panels, the underside with peony flowers spread in underglaze-blue 18 1/2 by 14 in. (47 by 35.6cm.) Excellent condition...

A large late 19th Century Japanese polychrome group of a lady standing with a young boy in her arms, the boy is holding a fan. Finely enameled with colors consisting of blue, red, pink and aqua. She measures 14 ¾ inches in height and is in excellent condition with no repairs nor restorations. It is very difficult to come across a bijin with child such as this.

Large imari fish shaped plate dating to 19th century, 15 inches in length and 10 inches wide. Excellent condition with no repairs nor restorations.

Rare Imari plates, dating to the late 17th century, in the shape of a crane with wings arched above its head enclosing a circle. Plates are 7 1/2 inches in diameter with the embossed crane depicted in blue, red, green, and gilt on an underglaze blue background. Some wear to the gilt otherwise very good condition with no repairs nor restorations. Interestingly, this is very similar to the JAL logo.

Kutani Hotei figure, late 19th Century, is 8 3/4 inches tall and 6 inches wide. Hotei is one of the seven Gods of good fortune. This piece features striking attention to detail, down to facial and body hair. Brilliant colors complete this wonderful piece.
