| Here’s something that every "baby-boomer" might remember was in mom's kitchen: a sleek chrome-plated Toastmaster with Bakelite fittings and a distinctive Art Deco look! This toaster, a two-slice model, was one of Toastmaster's earliest "Post World War II" designs, introduced in 1947. Back then, it was very popular and sold new for a whopping $23.50! Today, however, it holds greater "value" as a piece of nostalgia from childhood. This piece appears to be in relatively good overall physical condition; however, it does show normal "wear and tear" associated with everyday use from its earlier days, as well as a polishing mark on one of its chrome surfaces. The cloth-covered power cord is original to the toaster, but the end of its plug is covered with black electrical tape. This toaster measures 11"L (handle-to-handle) X 6"W X 7 1/4"H; the electrical cord (including end-plug) is 69”L. Estimated shipping weight is 10 lbs.
