A rare bottle by seminal designer Gio Ponti for Venini, circa 1950. The bottle is "incalmo," meaning that the grey top half was fused while hot onto the red bottom section. The stopper is clear with a red top. The bottle measures 14" tall with the stopper in place. In excellent condition with some faint condensation marks in the interior which I have not attempted to remove. Bears its original Venini sticker on the base, which includes a hand written number. A small portion of the Venini acid stamp, which is mainly covered by the label, is visible on the polished pontil (see last photo).
