Early American Pressed Glass sugar bowl, ca. 1898
$75.00 plus shipping

This is a very pretty Early American Pressed Glass lidded sugar bowl in a moss green color, ca. 1898. The pattern is called "Flower Range" but originally it was called "Dewey" to commemorate Admiral Dewey's entrance into Manila Bay in 1898, and was made by the Indiana Tumbler and Goblet Company of Greentown, Indiana. Condition is acceptable: on the inside rim of the lid is a small roughened area. The inside base of the bowl has scratching and a small portion of one of the feet of the bowl has been chipped off. Height with the lid 4.5"; diameter is 5". See photos for details.
