This is a rare and exceptional First Nation, Canada, limited edition (3/100) print by John Livingston, entitled "Kwa-Giluth Bullhead Design", dated 1979. This design is done in beautiful vibrant red. yellow, black and white. It is signed/dated on the lower left; the title is lower center; and, the edition number is lower right. It has a gold frame and is nicely matted and behind glass. John Livingston, born 1951, adopted tribe Kwakwaka'wakw, was taught to carve by the famous First Nation artists, Henry and Tony Hunt, in the early 1970s. Livingston is famous for his fine carvings and is highly esteemed as a teacher to young carvers. He is a master carver , as well as an accomplished painter and works from his studio in Victoria, B.C.
