An elegant Georgian antique wine glass with an engraved round funnel bowl with a fluted lower half. The engraving has vines, clusters of grapes, and other fruit. The stem is a double series opaque twist (DSOT), comprised of a pair of 7-ply spiral bands outside of a multi-ply corkscrew. Conical foot with a snapped pontil. The glass is in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks, or repairs. It stands 6 1/4" tall, with a bowl diameter of 2 3/8" and a foot diameter of 2 0/16". Note: Because of the extreme closeups of the photos, and the non-ideal lighting conditions, there might appear to be spots, discolorations, or hazes in the glass, which are not present in person. |
