A very nice English Georgian wine glass with a round funnel bowl, the lower half being molded with flutes. The stem is of the double series opaque twist type (DSOT) and is comprised of a pair of multi-ply corkscrews outside of a pair of spiral threads. Conical foot with a snapped pontil. Excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. Good color, striations, and tool marks. Normal and expected wear to foot. The height is 5 5/8", with a bowl diameter of 2" and a foot diameter of 2 7/16". Note: Because of the extreme closeups of the photos, and the non-ideal lighting conditions, there might appear to be spots, discolorations, or hazes in the glass, which are not present in person. |
