| Late 18th to Early 19th Century Antique Italian Neoclassical Painted and Gilded Palazzo Settee, newly upholstered in a elegant celadon green stripe with texture. H:40.5" W:8'7" D:23" Seat H:20" Seat D:19". This particular example of a Palazzo Settee is with fine wood carving along the frame of painted Gilt detail to accent the detail in the frame of the settee. Historically, a settee, also called a sofa, is an upholstered seat with back and arms (sometimes upholstered), designed for two or more people in a sitting or reclining position.
