Japanese dark Kiri wood Merchant's Chest with display shelves and drawers, Meiji period, late 1800's, 19" high, 20" wide, 7" deep, two(2) shelves above three(3) small drawers, and above two(2) larger drawers, all the drawers have brass round knob. The grains are beautiful and very decorative cut out design of pine tree and other Japanese design on the both side. The back side is enclosed with small lattice wooden grills which is very decorative, and wooden lattice work is in good condition, maybe one time someone pasted rice paper on the back side but now is all open. This merchant display chest is in good condition, no restoration or damage.

Chinese Export Hatcher Shipwreck Blue and White Porcelain Paste Ink Box with cover, 1 1/8" high with cover on, 2 1/8" diameter, with beautifully detailed brush stroke of underglaze blue Sun Flower decorated under the oily lustrous pale celadon green glaze, and swirling hand turned white clay hand work under the glaze. This beautiful paste box was auctioned as one of the "Hatcher Shipwreck Collection" sale in June 1984 in Amsterdam by Christie's. Paper label is still attached in the bottom. One(1) tiny bubble about 1/16" round popped during firing in the kiln on top of the cover, picture shows large size but it is really hard to find in real size, that is kiln imperfection, not damage.

Chinese Blue and White Porcelain Food Stack Box or Lunch Box with three(3) sectional box with top, 5" high, 4 1/8" diameter, all containers are fitted into each other. Underglaze blue decoration of children at play in the fenced yard riding large Bird(Ostrich?). The condition is good, Bubble popped on the top cover about 1/8" wide, sand got stuck inside the bottom of one of the container, no damages except kiln imperfection.

German Nymphenburg Soup Tureen and Cover, 13" wide with handle, and 9 1/2" diameter-top rim, 8 1/2" high, with applied three(3) dimensional Apple knob with attached branch of leaves and molded Rococo design handles. Hand painted two(2) blue bouquet flowers in the front and back in 2 or 3 different shades of blue, with smaller bunch of flowers spread out in several areas, some are on top of the molded basket weave design borders. Very white crispy porcelain round soup tureen marked on the bottom "Nymphenburg" in green under the crown in green with blue hand painted numbers, plus impressed mark.
