Chinese Qianlong period, from 1735 to 1796, underglaze blue and copper red with Celadon glazed vase converted to a lamp on square wooden base, 11" high and 4 3/4" wide in the middle part the widest area for the vase lamp only, 3 1/2" wide and 2 3/4" deep for the top rectangle shape, 12" high with wooden stand, with reclining Dragon handles on both side. One(1) side is decorated with underglaze blue and copper red house in the lake with mountain and lake scenery inside the low relief bordered enclosed panels on white background, and the other side is also decorated with underglaze blue and copper red Deer next to Pine tree inside the low relief bordered enclosed panel. Between the white low relief panels. On the sides underneath the reclining Dragon handles, there are some underglaze and copper red Chinese Poems inside low relief white background panels. The condition is good, no chips, cracks or restorations except hole on the bottom to make a lamp, which happened long time ago. Buyer has the choice to keep the shade but extra shipping cost will apply.

Chinese Export Porcelain Platter for American Market with family Lion crest, and initialed Seal inside the Shield supported by two(2) leafy branches, orange reddish overglaze Lion is standing on top, later part of 1700's to 1800, 19" wide, 16 1/2" high, 1 3/4" high, heavy orange peel look surface, with cobalt blue border high lighted with brilliant gold. Japanese Keyaki wood Tansu, two(2) section Tansu, early part of Meiji Period, 1867-1912, with brass Turtle and Iron Eagle on black iron oval shape back plate and heavy black iron handles, 46" high, 48" wide, 17 1/2" deep, include secret drawers in the highly decorated with black iron blind door located lower right side on the bottom, two(2) graduated size long drawers in the top section. The Keyaki wood grains in the front part of the drawers are highly decorative, the secondary wood is black lacquered Cedar wood. All the lock plates are decorated with raised removable Brass Turtles and Iron Eagles within brass frame. Brass Turtle will move up and down to hide the key holes and change his positions. The condition is good, shows some wears on wood, and little bits of brass beaks of Eagles are broken off.

Pair beautiful rare findings of Korean Scholar Chest "Mungap" with Burlwood inlaid doors and drawers with White Brass "Baektong" lock plates and square handles, 18" high, 32" wide, 13 3/4" deep, three(3) burlwood front drawers above the four(4) removable burlwood with lighter wood line frame panel doors supported by small feet, continue to vertical frame, wrapped with the white brass on the corners, top shows the dovetail method. All the panel doors are removable through the one area-second from right area- slide and pull through that area and pushed to the left side one by one to close all four(4) doors, no one can open the doors unless know how to open the whole chest. Only one(1) door-second from right- has the key hole which is open. The way to open the key hole-only one- is to push the white brass round center of the flower to upward, but none of others open except one(1) door-second from right. Inside the four(4) panel doors, there are four(4) small drawers under the top with small white brass tear drop shape handles. It is very important to lock the documents and papers, plus all the valuable utensils of the scholar. The condition is very good, shows the normal age wears, none of the white brass hard wear is missing. This was owned by one of the collectors in DC area for long time.

Chinese Export Famille Rose Porcelain oval shape Barber's Bowl, 12 1/2" wide, 9 1/2" deep, 2 3/8" high, 1790's, with overglaze Famille Rose color of Rose flowers on the wide rim, and larger size of bouquet of roses and other flowers with floating ribbon in the center inside the deep bowl. All the decorations are done on the heavy porcelain with orange peel like surface and highlighted with gold. There are two(2) holes on each side on the bottom rim area, to put the cords through the holes on both side to hang on the wall until next time. The condition is good, not much wears on the overglaze decoration, I did not feel any tiny frits on the rim with my finger tips.

Beautiful Japanese Marquetry inlaid Table, lots of Marquetry designs are displayed in this three(3) functional table, all in one(1) table, becomes to a Book Stand, a Chess table and a Sewing or Work Table, 33 1/2" high, 13" deep, 35 1/2" wide when it is open, 17 1/2" wide when two(2) leaves are closed on both side, with inlaid bracket support in the back and front on both side. This multiple purpose table comes in two(2) part, with separate stand with curved black lacquered legs connected to the rectangle shape stretcher on the bottom to strengthen the legs. There are two(2) small drawers above one(1) long drawer next to the small door inlaid with Persimmon wood Cherry tree, and mounted with white metal. Inside the door, there are small drawers. There is a pull out board in the bottom of the top piece, also inlaid with geometric design of Marquetry work with different kind of wood and shows various colors of the wood and shapes, and back side also inlaid with floral branches, very different design than other side. This pull out board goes into the long horizontal opening in the back and become book stand. If no need for the book stand, then push the board into the long horizontal opening in front side, then become hidden under the top piece. The pull out board in front become extra table top when more space is needed for sewing or other type of work. This table is a multiple purpose table, plus a very beautiful piece of furniture in any room setting. There are some warping on the table top, some wear and tear on wood surface.
