Chinese Export Famille Rose Mandarin pattern covered dressing jar or box, circa 1840, 3 5/8" high, 3 1/8" diameter, with overglaze enamel of Chinese Mandarin figures in two(2) cartouches and bird and butterflies in another two(2) cartouches. Top of the cover is decorated with full scale of Mandarin pattern of court yard activities. The quality of the painting is very fine and still retain the brilliant gold highlight. There are several frits size of 1/8" wide on the bottom of the cover and hairline crack about 1/2" to 1" long, visible from inside the cover-see picture.

Japanese Imari vase, circa early 1900's, with overglazed decoration of typical Imari colors of red, green and some gold with underglaze blue, 12" high, 6" wide-widest part, 3" diameter-top rim, with decoration of Japanese garden scenery with Maple, Pine trees and Daisy flowering plants in two(2) separated cartouches, and flowering Peony branches inside the stylized wide open Peacock feathers in the other two(2) cartouche. Dark gray color of thick line inside the top rim is thicker glaze ran down inside, no damages or restoration.

Chinese Famille Rose Plate, Qianlong period 1735-1796, 9" diameter, 1 1/4" high, large flowering branches in the vase in overglaze decoration with highlighted in gold in the center, within flowering branches between the powder blue color high wave wide border. There are some tiny frits, only felt by touching with finger tips, not able to see them and two(2) chips about 1/4" x 1/8" wide on the bottom rim.

Chinese Export Famille Rose Porcelain Plate, Qianlong period 1735-1796, 9" diameter, 1 1/8" high, with Bouquet of Peony flowers in the large urn in overglaze enamel of Famille Rose colors and high lighted in gold, smaller flowers in four(4) separated cartouches on the wide rim area. There are some shallow tiny frits on the bottom rim, and one(1) tiny frit under the outer rim, two(2) star shape glaze hairlines in the center area, mostly visible from the bottom.

Very large size of Imari Vase or Urn, made during later part of 1800's Meiji period in Arita area, 36" high, 12" diameter -top rim, 15" wide-widest measurement, with fluted top rim, very vivid color of Imari, horse man and another man playing musical instrument, they are traveling together. Beautiful colorful Peacock design between two(2) large panels of the horse and a man playing musical instrument. Around the bottom area, raised relief large Peony flowers decorated, all the designs of entire vase was done by overglaze enamel. Entire vase is sitting on the raised high foot. If you see some lines in the picture, that is the part of the designs, there are no damages or restorations.

Very large and heavy porcelain Chinese Mandarin decorated Brush Pot, Ca. 1830, 6" high, 5 1/8" diameter with full circle of different Mandarin Court Scene, one side decorated with Emperor reading courier letter, the other side is decorated with Lady Musician playing string instrument and a man looking outside the window between and above the Banana tree on the rocky garden. All the decorations done by overglaze enamel with high lighted in very bright gold, like hat, dishes and woman's collar of her dress. Some gold on top rim is worn from the many years of use and kiln firing crack about 1 1/2" long only inside near the bottom on the side of the brush pot where has no decoration except white glaze but not showing on the outside decorated area-see pictures. Kiln touch mark little indentation on the bottom unglazed rim and one(1) tiny bubble popped on gilded top rim, size of 1/8" wide.

Tibetan Wooden Manuscript Cover with hand painted fruit and scrolling vines in dark gold on dark charcoal color or almost black lacquer background, 15 1/2" wide, 3 1/4" high, 3/8" thick, some loss of black lacquer and shows the bare old wood surface. Red stained backside with clear lacquer finish, clearly shows the hand carving. No damages except wear and tear from handling for long period of time.

Chinese Export Famille Verte Porcelain plate, later part of 18th century, 9" diameter, 1" high with repeated iron red and yellow large Peony flowers and branches on wide rim area with small flowering plants in the center, all decorated in overglaze enamel. The outer rim is little inwards like dish. Bottom rim is unglazed and underglaze blue double circle in the center with firing glaze crack about 3" long. There are some small frits on the unglazed bottom rim and one(1) tiny frit was restored professionally on the outer rim-see picture.

Chinese Blue and White Brush Washer, made during mid 1800's, octagonal shape with vertical indented lines to separate eight(8) sections, with underglaze blue decoration of scrolling vines and flowers, 1 3/4" high, 3 1/2" diameter-maximum measurement, 1 7/8" diameter-opening on top. Edges of glazed top and bottom rim is worn. Seven(7) small round dots for resting brush washer on top of the stand while firing in the kiln. Decorated with very fine lines with fine brush strokes for each lines and objects. No major damages except edges on the top rim is stained between the bubbles and tiny frit, but the rim is very smooth by touch with finger tips.
