Chinese black inkstone with carved grape vine decoration next to oval shape well in Zitan wood case with cover, 1 1/8" high, 6 3/8" x 4 1/2" wide, with red wax seal for export as an antique piece. Black ink stone is not removable out of the box, it is stationed inside the wood case permanently and supported by low rounded bracket feet. Inkstone itself is in fine condition, the top area of the wooden cover is in discolored dull scratched condition and very worn from the many years of use, and the bottom wood case is separated in 2 places about 1/2" long from the shrinkage of the wood but did not continued. This inkstone is from the Washington D.C. collector.

Chinese Blue and White Brush Washer, made during mid 1800's, octagonal shape with vertical indented lines to separate eight(8) sections, with underglaze blue decoration of scrolling vines and flowers, 1 3/4" high, 3 1/2" diameter-maximum measurement, 1 7/8" diameter-opening on top. Edges of glazed top and bottom rim is worn. Seven(7) small round dots for resting brush washer on top of the stand while firing in the kiln. Decorated with very fine lines with fine brush strokes for each lines and objects. No major damages except edges on the top rim is stained between the bubbles and tiny frit, but the rim is very smooth by touch with finger tips.

Chinese Crackle ware Ceramic Brush Washer with Brush Holder, 1 5/8" high-maximum measurement, 2 3/4" wide,1 3/4" deep-maximum measurement, with crackled yellowish beige color glaze with a resting frog beside rock garden on top of the backside of top area. It has a round hole 3/8" diameter to hold a single brush. This crackle ware Brush Washer has glaze crack, and few frits on the glaze on the front rim and on top of the nose of the frog. Bottom is glazed except rim.

Chinese Sancai, three colored Ceramic Brush Washer with a green color Frog resting on top of the Conch Shell, 2 3/4" high-maximum measurement, 5 1/2" x 3 1/2" wide. The opening of the shell is 2 3/4" x 1 3/4" wide. The Sancai glaze is beautifully spread out with few firing glaze cracks about 1/2" to 1/4" long. The frog is ready to have a swim inside the washer where water was kept to wash brush. Unglazed bottom, no damages or restoration.

Chinese light Celadon color glazed Brush Rest, 2" high, 3 1/4" wide, 7/8" deep, with five(5) mountain peaks. Bottom section is unglazed and 1/2" long glaze crack on the front part of the highest peak in the center which was caused by the temperature changes right after firing.

Chinese Monochrome Blue Porcelain Brush Rest with curved five(5) mountain peaks, 2 1/8" high-maximum measurement, 3 5/8" wide, 1" deep-maximum. Raised vertical lines on the front and back side. The condition is good, 1/2" long firing crack on the left side at the corner and old stained frit on the bottom.

Chinese Ceramic Brush Rest, with curved shape five(5) Mountain Peaks, 4" wide, 1" deep, 2 3/4" high, made later part of 1800's, and house with black colored roof and tree. Both side of mountain valley have steep steps upward to reach the other side of the valley. One(1) old man with black umbrella crossing the bridge on the back side of mountain. This piece is in good condition, no damages or restoration.

Chinese Bamboo carved Brush Pot, 4 3/4" high, approximately 2 3/4" round, dated by very fine inscription in Chinese "Tao Kuang", 1821-1851, plus other poem in the Chinese script style on the opposite side. The carving is very fine and some areas shaded with darker color to show the depth of the design of Scholar with long stick admiring the mountain scenery. The other side is with beautifully written poem in script style in Chinese characters. Bottom has small hole about 1/2" wide-see pictures, and very tight small separation about 1/2" long only shows on the outside of the pot.
