Chinese Export Famille Rose Porcelain exceptionally fine very large Punch Bowl was made during Qianlong period, 1736-1795, 15 3/4" diameter, 7 1/4" high with high foot. Superb quality of the overglaze decorations with gold highlight of a very large Peony flowering branches with different styles and colors in the rock garden, branches of the Peony flowers continues circling almost entire bowl to meet a butterfly on the other side. More Peony flowering branches on the bottom inside, the rim is very ornately decorated with more smaller size Peony flowers and buds dangling from the rim with brown outline finish. Everything is large about this fine large Punch Bowl, the quality of overglaze enamel is superb and rings like very light sound of crystal ringing. Even though the scale of the decoration is large but the details of each flowers, butterflies and other designs are very detailed and finely painted in overglaze enamel, with raised and indentations for each designs to emphasize. There are no damages, or restorations, with a little bit of highlighted gold is worn.

Pair Chinese blue and white Canton Tea Canisters, circa before 1830 and 13 3/4" high-with carved rosewood tops, 12 1/2" high-without tops, 7 1/4" wide square with unglazed flat bottom. This pair of Canton Tea Canisters are very heavy weight with typical Canton decorations of a man on the bridge, sampans in the lake, pavilions with pine and willow trees and two(2) men walking up the hill to the Temple, all the decorations are done in underglaze blue. Two(2) carved rosewood tops(at least 40 years old) came with this pair Canton Canister set, but the owners did not use them on display. There are few very shallow glaze chips on the corners, about the size of 3/4" to 1/4" wide, and frits on the top rims, no restorations or hairlines, both ring like bell.

Exquisite high quality Chinese Yung Cheng period Export Famille Rose Porcelain Charger, circa 1723-1736, very large and deep, 15 1/4" diameter, 2 1/4" high, with raised overglaze enamel decoration of large Peony flowering branches in the center and outer rim is flaring out after the inner border, and decorated with multiple smaller flowering branches on the outer rim. All the decorations were done in overglaze enamel and high lighted in gold decoration, gold is still brilliant even though some area is dull and worn. There are some small stacking glaze dull areas on the surface but it is very hard to find them. This charger is decorated with a very high quality skillful artist and every detail of the design is highlighted with high relief to emphasize each flowers and pedals. The condition is very good, no damages or restorations.

Chinese carved Rock Crystal figure of Guan Yin, 9 1/2" high, 3 1/2" wide-widest part, 2 1/4" deep-maximum measurement, carved out of one(1) large solid natural Rock Crystal. The carving of the expression of the face and other detail of position of the hand and holding object are very polished and finely done. There are some grains showing deep inside the rock and some rough and dark natural area on the backside of Guan Yin's head, this shows that this figure is carved out of solid natural Rock Crystal. The condition is very good except two(2) rough frits under the tips of the skirt, it is not visible through the naked eyes but felt by finger tips. There are no open hair lines or any restoration was done on this figure.

Very large size of Imari Vase or Urn, made during later part of 1800's Meiji period in Arita area, 36" high, 12" diameter -top rim, 15" wide-widest measurement, with fluted top rim, very vivid color of Imari, horse man and another man playing musical instrument, they are traveling together. Beautiful colorful Peacock design between two(2) large panels of the horse and a man playing musical instrument. Around the bottom area, raised relief large Peony flowers decorated, all the designs of entire vase was done by overglaze enamel. Entire vase is sitting on the raised high foot. If you see some lines in the picture, that is the part of the designs, there are no damages or restorations.

Pair Japanese Wood Guardian Lions, to place on the double Shrine doors to protect Shrine Entrance, 10 1/2" high, 6"wide, 11" deep, circa before 1920's. One(1) Guardian Lion's mouth open and other is closed, with long curly hair and fat feet. Both have wooden wedges in the back to fasten door poles into large open holes. They are in good condition, no damages, show beautiful old age cracks and weathered patina in solid piece of wood.

Chinese Famille Rose Porcelain Garden Stool/seat, mid to later part of 1800's, 18 1/2" high, 13" diameter-top, with overglaze decoration of double Phoenix Birds on two(2) side, and reticulated double coin shape in blue decoration on the other two(2) side. Large yellow color Ruyi head border on the bottom and the top, floral design surrounded the reticulated double coin on the top. The top area is old worn very even soft beige color of old patina. Chinese Export Famille Rose Porcelain Vase with high Relief applied Squirrel design, made during Qianlong period 1736-1795, 10" high, 4 1/2" wide-maximum width, 1 5/8" diameter-top rim, with four(4) high relief applied Squirrels on the neck, with lots of grapes and vines separate the panels. Front and back panels filled with flowers, butterflies and bugs in overglaze enamel with brilliant gold touch. Two(2) narrow side areas between front and back panels also decorated with flowers. I do not find any missing or broken grapes, some grapes lost their glaze but no grapes are missing. Two(2) orange red colored Squirrels lost their tips of the mouth about smaller than 1/8" chipped off-see pictures, no other damages.

Chinese Mother of Pearl Shell carved Plaque, late 18th to early part of 19th Century, 8" high, 8 1/4" wide, 1" high when plaque is flat on the table, with flaming double Dragons in the cloud supporting the Chinese Character in the center. The carving is very fine and detailed three(3) dimensional and lots of open area through out the entire shell plague, the carving was done as thin as 1/32" thick in upper part and gradually getting thicker towards to bottom part. To carve three(3) dimensional and leave a large open area between the design is lot harder than other kind of flat carving, there are more danger to brake the shell while carving with such a fine design and thin stripes of the detailed carving on the thin piece of shell. There are at least four(4) different heights and depth of detailed carving was used to carve the Dragon's face alone, the detail of the carving is extremely well done and so detailed. The color of backside is partially dark purple more like pale Eggplant color in upper area and some rough spots which is natural grain of shell on the bottom thicker area. Everything is all natural colors and no damages or restoration.

Pair Japanese Blue and White Porcelain Hibachis, 12" high, 17 3/4" diameter-outer measurement, 12 3/4" diameter-inner rim measurement, with almost 2 1/2" wide flat rim on top. All decorated mountain scenery and trees are in underglaze blue. The rim is 2 1/2" wide with Dragon in the cloud motif. The condition is good except some Kiln original imperfection like small missed glaze spots and some darker sand spots which is very typical when Kiln produce the large heavy Porcelain items.

Chinese Export Fitzhugh pattern Blue and White Porcelain oval shape covered Vegetable Dish with original cover, Ca. 1790-1800, 4 1/2" high, up to the top of Acorn shape knob, 11 3/4" x 8 5/8" wide. This is early Fitzhugh porcelain with very fine and delicately decorated Chrysanthemums and Peony sprigs in four(4) sections within diaper and spearheads border which is done with very exact and fine brush strokes in underglaze blue. Same design is on top of the cover. The glaze is greenish blue transparent color, and the bottom outside is unglazed. There is a kiln firing flow under the Acorn shape knob. No damages or restorations.

Chinese Export Canton Blue and White Porcelain Water Bottle, made during 1820's, 12 3/4" high, 9 1/2" wide-widest part, 2 3/8" diameter-top rim, 6 1/4" diameter-bottom rim, with heavy potted body decorated with one(1) scholar studying inside the Pavilion near the lake, and boats under the willow tree connected with bridge to the other side of the embankment with more Pavilions in two(2) separate panels in underglaze blue, with band of large Tobacco leaves decorated on the neck area and rain and cloud design just below the top rim. There is a one(1) shallow glaze chip on the top rim about 1/4" long and 1/8" wide-see picture.
