Pair Chinese blue and white Canton porcelain Tea Canisters, circa before 1830 and 13 3/4" high-with carved rosewood tops, 12 1/2" high-without tops, 7 1/4" wide square with unglazed flat bottom. This pair of Canton Tea Canisters are very heavy weight with typical Canton decorations of a man on the bridge, sampans in the lake, pavilions with pine and willow trees and two(2) men walking up the hill to the Temple, all the decorations are done in underglaze blue. Two(2) carved rosewood tops(at least 40 years old) came with this pair Canton Canister set. There are few very shallow glaze chips on the corners, about the size of 3/4" to 1/4" wide, and frits on the top rims, both rings like bell.

Pair Chinese Hardwood Display Shelves, 21" high, 31" wide, 7" deep, made during late 18th century or early part of 19th century, very dense and dark brown color heavy weight hardwood with naturally aged without any hard chemical finish. Two(2) shelves(1 center top and 1 center bottom) are shape like altar table. These pair of shelves are treasures for scholars to display their prized small treasures and enjoy them, specially pair is impossible to find. The shelves are resting on the bracket shape small low base with solid bottom. Side of shelves are very decorative carving, like urn shape. Multiple level of shelves are different height from 4" to 10" high and 5" to 19" wide, with rounded corners of the top is still tightly joined together and can be hung or put on the table top. They are in good condition, there are small wood separation on the side area, but not very visible.

Pair Chinese Famille Rose Flask or Moon shape vases, 10 1/4" high, 7 1/4" wide-widest part, 2 1/2" wide on the base, 2 1/8" diameter-top rim, early 1800's, with pair extremely finely decorated overglaze Dragons with highlighted gold between white flowers and feathers on the Turquoise color background inside large roundels on both side surrounded with Famille Rose color of floral and vines in the slightly raised pink background. Top and bottom section of the vase is decorated overglaze vines and floral design on yellow background, and two(2) stylized reclining Lizards handles on both side of shoulders. Reclining Lizards have a lot of open spaces between vase and detailed body of Lizards and slender style, not fat and chunky attachment. There are no restoration, modification or touch up on original condition, except two(2) very shallow piece off from the bottom about 1/4" wide and no depth except color is different, and small shallow chip off from Lizard's elbow about 3/8" wide which shows white color in the photograph. Gold on top rim is worn and one(1) tiny bubble popped long time ago. It is hard to find the pair of flask shape vases in this condition and fine detailed decoration throughout the surface.

Exquisite large deep high quality Chinese Yung Cheng period Export Famille Rose Porcelain Charger, circa 1723-1736, 15 1/4" diameter, 2 1/4" high, with raised overglaze enamel decoration of large Peony flowering branches in the center and outer rim is flaring out after the inner border, and decorated with multiple smaller flowering branches on the outer rim. All the decorations were done in overglaze enamel and high lighted in gold decoration, gold is still brilliant even though some area is dull and worn. There are some small stacking glaze dull areas on the surface but it is very hard to find them. This charger is decorated with a very high quality skillful artist and every detail is highlighted with relief decoration to emphasize each flowers and pedals. The condition is very good, no damages or restorations.

Chinese large carved Rock Crystal figure of Guan Yin, 9 1/2" high, 3 1/2" wide-widest part, 2 1/4" deep-maximum measurement, carved out of one(1) large solid natural Rock Crystal. The carving of the expression of the face and other detail of position of the hand and holding object are very polished and finely done. There are some grains showing deep inside the rock and some rough and dark natural area is on the backside of Guan Yin's head. The condition is very good except two(2) tiny frits under the tips of the skirt, it is not visible through the naked eyes but felt by finger tips. There are no open hair lines or any restoration was done on this figure.

Very large size of Imari Vase or Urn, made during later part of 1800's Meiji period in Arita area, 36" high, 12" diameter -top rim, 15" wide-widest measurement, with fluted top rim, very vivid color of Imari, horse man and another man playing musical instrument while they are traveling together. Beautiful colorful Peacock design between two(2) large panels of the horse and a man playing musical instrument. Around the bottom area, high relief large Peony flowers decorated, all the designs of entire vase was done by overglaze enamel, resting on the raised high rim. If you see some lines in the picture, that is the part of the designs, there are no damages or restorations.

Japanese very intricate and fine Marquetry inlaid Chess Board Game Table/wide Sewing table, Meiji period, late 1800's to early 1900's, 33 1/2" high, 17 1/2" wide, 13" deep when two(2) leaves are closed, 35 1/2" wide when two(2) leaves are open. This table comes in two(2) parts, upper chest with small drawers and stand with wide wooden stretcher on the bottom. The stand is 22 1/2" high, 19" wide, 15" deep, inlaid on curved area. Upper chest contains four(4) drawers and two(2) small drawers inside inlaid floral design door, all inlaid with various type of wood and colors-front, both side, back and top. All the white metal hardware like pulls and hinges are embossed impressed pattern of small dots and various style of Japanese design, plus small round dark wood knobs. This table extend to a longer table to use as a sewing table, both side have two(2) supports to swing out, total four(4) pull out supports to support the leaves on both side when they open to full width. The condition is very good considering the intricate marquetry work on wooden surface, very slight warping appearing on the top, the two(2) small drawers behind the blind door can not pull out all the way, no marquetry inlaid piece of wood is missing, no restoration work on this piece, all original.

Pair Japanese Wood Guardian Lions, to place on the double Shrine doors to protect Shrine Entrance, 10 1/2" high, 6"wide, 11" deep, circa before 1920's. One(1) Guardian Lion's mouth is open and other is closed, with long curly hair and fat feet. Both have wooden wedges in the back to fasten door poles into large open holes. Japanese Lacquer Trunk with Maki lacquer low relief decoration, with large Lotus flowers on five(5) side(top, front, back and both side) continued design of large Lotus flowers, and stamped brocade Bronze finish Strapping, 14 1/2" high, 24 1/2" wide, 17 1/2" deep, include inner black lacquer tray fitted over the top rim. The top cover is separate piece, not hinged, and fit on the top rim of main trunk. The large Lotus Flowers in the water design is spread out on all five(5) side, bottom is finished with black lacquer only. The straps are overlapping onto the bottom, and one side of bronze finish fitting was missed before and replaced with oval shape piece long time ago, and the other side is complete with original pieces. Each corner of joint is split and small size of lacquer losses on the various areas, no major lacquer losses on top of large Lotus flowers. This Maki lacquer trunk has a beautiful old patina.

Chinese Export Famille Rose Porcelain Vase with high relief applied Squirrel design, made during Qianlong period 1736-1795, 10" high, 4 1/2" wide-maximum width, 1 5/8" diameter-top rim, with four(4) high relief applied Squirrels around the neck of the vase, with lots of grapes and vines decorations separate the panels. Front and back panels filled with flowers, butterflies and bugs in overglaze enamel with brilliant gold touch. Two(2) narrow side areas between relief design, front and back panels also decorated with flowers. I do not find any missing or broken grapes, some grapes lost their glaze but no grapes are missing. Two(2) orange red colored Squirrels lost their tips of the mouth about smaller than 1/8" chipped off, no other damages.

Tibetan Polychrome Snow Lion low relief painted trunk, used gesso finish over the wood and polychrome paint on top, 14 1/2" high, 28" wide, 13 1/2" deep, and large Chinese Character decorated on both side. Iron ring in the back to hold the top cover, and interlocking dovetailed corners to hold pieces together. The hardware for lock in front to close the top is brass. There is a little hole about 1/2" to 3/4" round on one side caused by the natural eye in the wood popped out by the dryness of the wood, this is natural aging. The painting on the gesso over the wood is good condition, no major damage except some missing very small paint chips, overall the condition is very good compare after many years of harsh weather condition in Himalayan region.

Chinese Mother of Pearl Shell carved Plaque, late 18th to early part of 19th Century, 8" high, 8 1/4" wide, 1" high when plaque is flat on the table, with flaming double Dragons in the cloud supporting the Chinese Character in the center. The carving is very fine and detailed three(3) dimensional and lots of open area through out the entire shell plague, the carving was done as thin as 1/32" thick in upper part and gradually getting thicker towards to the bottom section. To carve three(3) dimensional and leave a large open area between the design is lot harder than other kind of flat carving, there are more danger to brake the shell while carving with such a fine design and thin stripes of the detailed carving on the thin piece of shell. There are at least four(4) different heights and depth of detailed carving was used to carve the Dragon's face alone, the detail of the carving is extremely well done and very detailed. The color of backside is partially dark purple more like pale Eggplant color in upper area and some rough spots which is natural grain of shell on the thicker area, all natural colors and no damages or restoration.

Chinese Export Gold and Black Lacquer Tea Caddy, mid 1800's, 5 1/4" high, 9 1/4" x 6" wide, with very finely detailed painting of garden and court scene in different shades of gold, light and dark on black lacquer background, used one(1) hair brush in most of areas to draw finest line and face expressions, and carved Dragon feet with open red mouth. The quality of this tea caddy is one of the best ones I ever seen for long time. It contains two(2) engraved Pewter tea boxes inside with fitted covers and round bone knob. Pewter boxes have some dent. The condition of this lacquer tea caddy is exceptionally good compare to the other lacquer tea caddies in this kind of delicate lacquer work as a 19th century piece. There are some black lacquer losses on the bottom around the front left foot in small area, and lower part of the lid under the top and small lacquer loss of the left side under the lid. very minimal lacquer wear in tiny areas around the corners of outer top edges.

Pair large Chinese Green Quartz Lamps in fine working condition, 27" high(from bottom to top of the harp), 15" high (from bottom to top of the Green Quartz Phoenix Bird) and 12" high 6" wide for Green Quartz Urn only. The Green Quartz Urns with removable carved Phoenix Bird Tops, mounted within carved Rosewood Stands and supported by embossed Brass base on the bottom. The Phoenix Bird tops on the top area can be lift up from the embossed brass ring area and change the small light bulbs inside the Urn. There are some natural darker color of grains throughout the stone and shows various shades of green transparent colors. One(1) small branch in front about 3/4" long is broken off from its place, not very noticeable. There are some scratches on the surface. I have pair silk lamp shades in good condition for these lamps, free of charge but buyer have to pay the shipping cost, please inquire.

Chinese Export Fitzhugh Blue and White Porcelain oval shape covered Vegetable serving Dish with original cover, Ca. 1790-1800, 4 1/2" high, up to the top of the Acorn shape knob, 11 3/4" x 8 5/8" wide. This is early Fitzhugh porcelain with very fine and delicately decorated Chrysanthemums and Peony sprigs in four(4) sections within diaper and spearheads border which is done with very exact and fine brush strokes in underglaze blue. Same design is on top of the cover. The glaze is greenish blue transparent color, and the bottom outside is unglazed. There is a kiln firing mark under the Acorn shape knob. No damages or restorations.

There is a one(1) shallow glaze chip on the top rim about 1/4" long and 1/8" wide.
