Japanese large Saki Barrel, red Lacquer on Cedar wood, mid 1900's, 20" high to the top of the handles, 19" diameter on top rim, top and stopper are removable with black lacquer store symbol design on top, wide large high handles are part of the main barrel, and wrapped around with very heavy twisted Bamboo ropes. Japanese Kanji Characters under the top inside. Red lacquer finish is worn on some areas, that makes very fashionable decorative piece, it shows wear and tear and usage over the years.

Korean black Lacquer on wood inlaid Head Chest or cloth chest, flying Korean Double Dragons with typical 4 claws, 28" high, 25" wide, 21" deep, inlaid with Tortoiseshell(imitation), Mother of Pearl and twisted Brass Wire on Black Lacquer finish in front, top and both sides, with multiple Brass Butterfly hinges and Brass Butterfly lock backplate. Some black lacquer finish is missing or chipped off, mostly on the top raised sides and feet area, and several small pieces of inlaid tortoiseshell is missing, as found condition, no restoration was done on this chest. Inside the chest is lined with rice paper with Chinese Characters and back is finished with black lacquer.

Pair Japanese Nabeshima porcelain impressed mark "Kotobuki(Longevity)" large Dishes, Meiji, before 1920, impressed mark on both dishes, 8 1/4" diameter-top rim, 4 1/4"-bottom rim, 2" high, stand on the very fine combed blue design high feet and coin decorated in underglaze blue underneath the dish, and the top of the dishes are decorated with underglaze blue with overglaze red bamboo basket interlocking weave design. The detail of the lines and interlocking design is done with one hair brush and also blue combed design on the high feet is very high quality exact brush strokes. The condition is good, no damages, some small scratches on the surface overglaze red design, please see the enlarged photo.

Japanese Keyaki wood front and black iron mounted heavy 2 section Tansu, early Meiji period, 1890-1900, 46" high, 48" wide, 17 1/2" deep with 3 graduated long drawers and one shorter drawer, two small drawers are inside the heavy black iron mounted blind door on the bottom right side. The secondary wood is Cedar or some Pine mixed on the side and inside the drawers. All the black iron lock plates are decorated with Brass Turtle and black iron Eagles with Brass beak, Brass Turtles are swing around to cover the key holes. All the handles and corners are also black iron. Some of the black iron corners on the bottom area shows sign of old age, small pieces are broken off, couple small dents are on the top, otherwise the condition is good.

Japanese Keyaki wood heavy Tansu, early Meiji period, 1890-1900, 46" high, 48" wide, 17 1/2" deep with 2 long graduated size drawers on top section, bottom section consisted of one(1) shorter drawer on the left side and heavy black iron mounted blind door on the right bottom, consist of 2 small drawers behind the blind door. Brass Turtle(movable) to hide the key hole and heavy black iron Eagle decorated shaped back plates and handles on Keyaki wood drawer front, side panels and inside the drawers are mixed with Cedar wood and some other secondary wood. Two(2) heavy black iron handles on both sides to lock two pieces of tansu. Shows some scratches with age and small brakes on Eagle's beaks, otherwise whole Tansu is in good condition.
