Japanese Mingei wooden Pyramid shape steps or Ladder, 24 1/2" high, 17 1/2" to 18" wide at the bottom, 14" wide x 7" deep-bottom step, 10 1/2" wide x 7" deep-top of the step, mixed wood used. This steps can be used as a table or displaying objects. The condition is good, some wear and tear on wood with age.

Japanese Keyaki wood Tansu, two(2) section Tansu, early part of Meiji Period, 1867-1912, with brass Turtle and Iron Eagle on black iron oval shape back plate and heavy black iron handles, 46" high, 48" wide, 17 1/2" deep. Lower piece has two(2) drawers, two(2) small drawers inside the highly decorated with black iron small blind door next to bottom drawer, and top piece with two(2) long graduated size drawers. The Keyaki wood grains are very decorative, the secondary wood is black lacquered Cedar wood. All the lock plates are decorated with raised removable Brass Turtles and Iron Eagles within brass frame. Brass Turtle will move up and down to hide the key holes and change his positions. The condition is good, shows some wears on wood, and little bits of brass beaks of Eagles are broken off.

Pair beautiful rare findings of Korean Scholar Chests "Mungap" with Burl wood inlaid doors and drawers and white Brass "Baektong" lock plates and square handles, 18" high, 32" wide, 13 3/4" deep, three(3) burl wood front drawers above the four(4) removable burl wood frameed panel doors supported by small feet, continue to vertical frame, wrapped with the white brass around the corners, and top shows the dovetail method. All the panel doors are removable through the one door-second from the right-slide and pull through and pushed to the left side one by one to close all four(4) doors, no one can open the doors unless know how to open the whole chest. Only one(1) door-second from right- has the key hole which can be open. The way to open the key hole-only one- is to push the white brass round center of the flower to upward, but none of others open except one(1) door-second from right. Inside the four(4) panel doors, there are four(4) small drawers under the top with small white brass tear drop shape handles. It is very important to lock the documents and papers, plus all the valuable utensils for scholar. The condition is very good, shows the normal age wears, none of the white brass hardwear is missing. This was owned by one of the collectors in DC area for long time.

Tibetan carved wood Manuscript/script Cover, some of the gold and Polychrome finish still remain between low relief carved design, 27 1/2" long, 10 1/2" high, 1 1/2" thick, weight is heavy and one(1) large size of wood panel was used. One end is carved with polychrome and gold finish, and the other end is not carved. There are some yak butter stains on wood, and rounded corners with age. The condition is good, no damage or restoration.

Chinese Export Famille Rose Porcelain oval shape Barber's Bowl, 12 1/2" wide, 9 1/2" deep, 2 3/8" high, 1790's, with overglaze Famille Rose color of Rose flowers on the wide rim, and larger size of bouquet of roses and other flowers with floating ribbon in the center inside the deep bowl. All the decorations are done on the heavy porcelain with orange peel like surface and highlighted with gold. There are two(2) holes on each side on the bottom rim area, to put the cords through the holes on both side to hang on the wall until next time. The condition is good, not much wears on the overglaze decoration.

Beautiful Japanese Marquetry inlaid Table, mid 1800's, many different decoration of Marquetry designs are displayed in this three(3) functional table, all in one(1) table, becomes to a Book Stand, a Chess table and a Sewing or Work Table, 33 1/2" high, 13" deep, 35 1/2" wide when it is open, 17 1/2" wide when two(2) leaves are closed on both side, with inlaid bracket support leaves in the back and front on both side. This multiple purpose table comes in two(2) part, with separate stand with curved black lacquered legs connected to the rectangle shape stretcher on the bottom to strengthen the legs. There are two(2) small drawers above one(1) long drawer next to the small door inlaid with Persimmon wood Cherry tree, and mounted with stamped white metal. Inside the door, there are small drawers. There is a pull out board in the bottom of the top piece in front, also inlaid with geometric design of Marquetry work with different kind of wood and shows various colors of the wood and shapes, and back side also inlaid with floral branches, very different design than other side. This pull out board goes into the long horizontal opening in the back and become book stand. If no need for the book stand, then push the board into the long horizontal opening in front side, then become hidden under the top piece. The pull out board in front become extra table top when more space is needed for sewing or other type of work. This table is a multiple purpose table, plus a very beautiful piece of Marquetry furniture in any room setting. There are slight warping on the table top, some wear and tear on wood surface, no missing inlaid piece of woods.

Chinese Rosewood heavy weight three(3) Tier Table with beautiful grain, late 1800's, 30 1/2" high, 17" x 12 1/2" wide, front end is little drop down round edge, puzzle like geometric lattice bottom frame connected to the round turned legs. There is a wood separation between top frame and table top panel approximately 7" long, started from the rounded corner area and tapering towards to the middle along side the frame, this can be fixed easily or just leave it alone, and some old stains on the top.

Chinese Export Imari Porcelain oversize Tankard or Mug, 18th century, Qianlong period, 1736-1795, 6 3/4" high, 4 3/8" diameter-top rim with round handle and two(2) raised double bands on the lower part of the Tankard, with large Peony flower branches on both side and connect in the front side above the two(2) raised double bands. All the iron red and gold colors are overglazed and blue is underlazed. Top rim is brown and bottom is not glazed. There are old stained glaze chips on the both side of round handle and three(3) small chips are on the bottom rim, 1/2" long old stained glaze hairline is side of the upper part of the handle, rings like crystal bell.

Qianlong period 1736-1795, 9" diameter, 1 7/8" high, with Peony flower branches in the center, within more floral branches decorated on the wide border, all the decorations are done with overglaze iron red and underglaze blue, highlighted in gold outlines. There are very tight glaze hairline under the plate about 2" long and another one is 3/4" long, and a small chip 1/8" wide under the rim.
