| Chinese Bamboo carved Brush Pot, 4 3/4" high, approximately 2 3/4" round, dated by very fine inscription in Chinese "Tao Kuang", 1821-1851, plus other poem in the Chinese script style on the opposite side. The carving is very fine and some areas shaded with darker color to show the depth of the design of Scholar with long stick admiring the mountain scenery. The other side is with beautifully written poem in script style in Chinese characters. Bottom has small hole about 1/2" wide-see pictures, and very tight small separation about 1/2" long only shows on the outside of the pot. | ||
