| Japanese heavy wood Trunk from the Castle, made during Meiji period(1868-1912), 19 1/2" high, 20 1/2" wide, 13 3/4" deep, with heavy black iron mounted on four(4) corners, lock plate compartment and two(2) handles which can be lift up for the carrying with two(2) wooden poles by two(2) man, one in front and other man in the back. Top lift up to open, Kanji written in red Lacquer to identify the usage of the trunk which is for Armor usage on two(2) sides. Condition is good, just showing the wear and tear but all the black iron mounted hardware is in place. | ||
