| Very large size of Imari Vase or Urn, made during later part of 1800's Meiji period in Arita area, 36" high, 12" diameter -top rim, 15" wide-widest measurement, with fluted top rim, very vivid color of Imari, horse man and another man playing musical instrument, they are traveling together. Beautiful colorful Peacock design between two(2) large panels of the horse and a man playing musical instrument. Around the bottom area, raised relief large Peony flowers decorated, all the designs of entire vase was done by overglaze enamel. Entire vase is sitting on the raised high foot. If you see some lines in the picture, that is the part of the designs, there are no damages or restorations. | ||
