I am listing several lots of vintage costume jewelry that had been for sale at a local antique shop.
Some of the items still have the shop price tags on them and some do not – the tags you see in photo are the tags from the shop. (I have additional photos of these items, just email if you would like to see them.)
This group has 13 chains with pendants and 6 chains without pendants. All are costume, either gold-tone or silver-tone and chains range in length from 16” to 24”.
I will only describe items of special note:
The pretty gold-tone leaf shaped pendant holds a green color stone that I assume is faux jade but not certain.
The gold-tone with green and black pendant is especially pretty – eye-catching.
The red enamel heart pendant is marked Royal.
The gold tone heart with stars and stripes has Lady Liberty on the back with dates 1886-1986.
The round disc pendant is stamped pewter.
There are 2 pendants with the 1928 hang tag. One is the gold-tone locket. The locket opens but I believe there was something on the front of locket that is now missing. The other pendant is smaller and again, I believe there was something on the front that is now missing.
One pendant is a scarab beetle that I believe was originally part of a bracelet because it has loops at each end – someone put this on a chain. There is no gold content marked on the metal but I would not be surprised to find that it is at a minimum gold filled. The scarab is tiger-eye, real or faux I couldn’t determine but it has excellent color.
Nice assortment of items for wear, re-sale, or re-purposing!
