The color and design of this McCoy planter (small jardinière) are simply outstanding! Made in the 1940’s, planter measures 3 ¼” tall, 3 5/8” diameter, is a pale pink color and marked on bottom: Made in USA, McCoy. Little planter has several typical McFlaws – color pooling and drips, a ½” missing piece of pottery that apparently came off during removal from mold – has color and glaze and is located at the bottom of one of the corner ribs), and it has a couple ½” super tight hairlines at rim that I’m not certain are production or “use”. You have to look closely to see them, they’re spaced evenly apart, and considering the pristine condition of this item, I would rate them as non-detrimental. Beautiful item! Please email for photo.
