This is a beautiful older unmarked McCoy vase! Made in the 1940’s, it measures 9 1/8” tall and is a rich aqua color with shiny glaze. This is a heavy vase, is a somewhat difficult find, and as with the other aqua vases we have just listed, it’s from my collection. It is not mint condition but the imperfections weren’t serious enough to prevent my purchasing it years ago! It has a ¾” super tight hairline at rim – it’s fine as a pencil mark or craze mark. The dry (setting) ring has a slice type chunk missing – see photo – and it has a couple smaller ones. My guess is there were attached pottery flakes (clunks) that prevented the vase from setting level and a prior owner shipped them off – removing a little more than intended. Do not be deterred by my description – this is a beautiful vase, seldom found on the market.
