We offer for purchase this lovely marked "CAC LENOX GLEN-IRIS" VASE. This item was produced by the Ceramic Art Company (CAC) Lenox between 1896-1906. The base of this vase has what is described by Authors Loma and Petula Eng as being Lavender CAC Mark #6. This vase stands 8 1/4" tall and 4 1/4" across at the widest point. This vase does have 2 small partially repaired (filled)rim flakes that each measures slightly under 1/8" across and no deeper than 1/16". The gold rim seems to have been worn away or removed by someone in the past to attempt to repair this vase. This is a very easy repair to complete as it appears to only need the addition of a gold rim paint. We feel that this beautiful vase is well worth the minor effort and our price will easily allow the new owner to perform or pay to have it done at your favorite restorer. No other chips, cracks or repairs. Shipping is $10.00 in the Continental U.S. Insurance is available for an additional fee.

We very proudly offer for purchase this Original CLEWELL COPPER and BRASS over American Art Pottery Arts and Crafts Bowl. Highly unusual for Clewell to fin that the item has multiple metals as is this wonderful older patina'd Copper simulated hand wrought and studded design with a BRASS letter B in Arts and Crafts form. The item was very well polished many years ago but does seem to have an older patina on the Copper as it is evenly darkened while the Brass B is a bit brighter. This is how this item was acquired by us so we are not aware of when or even if this was the original or a later developed patina. The base is clearly impressed CLEWELL CANTON O for Canton Ohio. Clewell purchase pottery items from many of the Cincinnati area Pottery houses during the early 20th century and then added his own secret formulation of addition of metal surfaces and patina to the items. This is one of the finest forms for a smaller piece of Clewell we have ever seen. Clearly showing what are to represent as seems in the metal work and hand hammered studs/rivets. This gem stands about 2" tall and the top opening is about 3" across. No chips, cracks or repairs to this item. Shipping is $7.50 plus optional shipping insurance at the buyers request in the Continental U.S.

This item is decorated around the body with raised white cameo style relief patterning of Girls with Hats and Fans as well as impressed daisy and raised beaded design. The item measures 3 1/4" X 3 1/2". There is a small spot on one figure where the foot appears to have either chipped out or was popped off in the kiln. There are multiple underside lid rim chips as can be seen in our photo but this shape is most often found with no lid and this one has its original lid. Slightly faint impressed Doulton Lambeth mark with production year of 1881 and shape 893C and artist mark/device. MAGNIFICENT Circa 1876 Polychrome Limoges Glazed Pair of Cavalier Vases by F. LANDRY A. PARIS. This superb matched Pair of Vases measure 10 1/2" X 8 1/2" X 4". They are both supported upon 4 Legs and are Flattened on all sides. The Hand Painted UNDER GLAZE decoration is of Cavaliers with Brightly colored Hats and cloths and enhanced with TONS of Bright Shiny Original GOLD enamel work. There are some minor early restorations to glaze flakes on the feet and one near a top corner of one of the vases and one Glaze Flake on the edge of one of the Legs, but this type of time wear is expected on these soft Ceramic Vases, especially at the wonderful size that this pair are. The make the most wonderful statement in any well decorated room or on a Mantle. The base of one vase is impressed, F. LANDRY A. PARIS, while one vase is signed underglazed Landry and the other vase is initialed F.L. (the slip painted initial have a little tail making it almost appear to be an E instead of F, but we know that the vases are done by the same hand so it must be an E. It is very possible that this pair of vases were created for the 1876 World Expo as the art work is superior to most any other Polychromed work of this time period. Shipping is $20.00 in the Continental U.S. For International shipping rates, please contact us.

We very proudly offer a Stunning Vintage German/Continental Porcelain Grouping. This item measures 10" tall and 9" wide. The detail and the quality of this Porcelain Grouping is right up there with the best of known firms. As with many of these early and very intricately created groupings there are some very minor damages. The most offensive is one of the ears on one sheep is partially missing and there is a base chip on the edge below the Mans hat. There are some minor rough flakes to the edge but all to be expected again for an item of this age and quality. One sheep has a rub on the top of his snout but it blends in with the white ground of the porcelain. The detailed painting on this item and model workmanship clearly shows this to be a magnificent addition to any fine arts or porcelain collection. The base has what appears to be a Company Mark that I have been unable to locate to date. It is under the glaze and appears to be a modified capital "A" and another mark just below it. This item has no cracks or repairs. Shipping in the Continental U.S. is $16.00 plus Mandatory Shipping Insurance. The Insurance fee will be determined at the time of purchase.
