We proudly offer for purchase this highly unusual Frederick Carder Era STEUBEN unsigned shape #2153 Crystal Basket!. This item measures 10 1/2" X 6 3/4" X 4 1/2". The base has a 1 1/8" ground and polished pontil as well as correct age/shelf wear to the base. The handles have the recognized Steuben Berry Prunts where the applied handle attaches to the body of the basket itself. What is so odd and unusual about this item is that it has a very light, thin almost oily slightly iridescent sheen to the basket. It is not damage and this may well be a one of a kind off hand item. The shape, weight, thickness of the handle, thickness of the glass and the size of the ground and polished pontil are all the same as known examples of signed Steuben Shape # 2153 Carder Era Baskets.. There are no chips, cracks or repairs. Shipping is $18.00 in the Continental U.S.

We proudly offer for purchase this attributed possibly unsigned VICKE LINDSTRAND KOSTA COLORA Free-Form Blown Glass glass vase. Measures 10 1/2" X 3". The base has a ground and polished pontil as well as a ground and polished base ring upon which the vase sits. There are a few very minor marks on the surface of the vase but they are almost invisible to the naked eye. I see no manufacturers mark for a positive ID but there are some small markings in the base/shelf wear that appear to possibly be the initials for Vicke Lindstram of Kosta Glass. This is a stunning Mid Century Modern work of Art Glass! Very heavy Crystal, Red and White Glass. As mentioned, some light wear marks but no chips, cracks or repairs. Shipping is $15.00 in the Continental U.S.

We offer for purchase this Absolutely Beautiful and *SCARCE* ROOKWOOD Yellow Jewel Porcelain Bowl by Lorinda Epply. This item is covered in the very sought after and scarce Yellow Jewel Porcelain Glaze. It is decorated with Warm Florette's that circle the Flared Rim and a large Central Florette. The reverse side of the bowl is decorated in dripping Blue, Brown and Black creating a stunning effect. This item is marked on the base with the Rookwood Reverse RP and 14 Flame Logo. XXIV for the year 1924. Shape #2757 with a right dot. The Artist initials LE for Lorinda Epply, one of Rookwoods most sought after artists. The bowl is also marked on the base with a wheel cut into the glaze Double X mark denoting this item as a double second. The reason for this is a firing split which occurred in the final firing of this item. It appears that one of the stilts slipped slightly, creating pressure and a subsequent crack/split that is more noticeable on the base than the interior of the bowl but it is there. The item was obviously considered Beautiful and Artistic enough to not destroy and was most likely given to either the Artist or Worker at the Rookwood Showroom. It is truly a stunning example of a very Scarce Glaze with No Apparent Crazing! Other than the Firing flaw there are no Chips or repairs. This item measures 7 1/4" across and stands 2 1/2" high. Shipping is $12.00 in the Continental U.S. Insurance is available for an additional fee upon request.
