We offer this OUTSTANDING ART DECO marked CALIF USA, California Art Pottery Figural Planter with a Magnificent Flambe and Veined Glaze! The figure of a Geisha stands along side a square planter with a raised Dragon Motif. The outstretched hands and head tip is absolutely timeless to the period. We very proudly offer for purchase this Original CLEWELL COPPER and BRASS over American Art Pottery Arts and Crafts Bowl. Highly unusual for Clewell to fin that the item has multiple metals as is this wonderful older patina'd Copper simulated hand wrought and studded design with a BRASS letter B in Arts and Crafts form. The item was very well polished many years ago but does seem to have an older patina on the Copper as it is evenly darkened while the Brass B is a bit brighter. This is how this item was acquired by us so we are not aware of when or even if this was the original or a later developed patina. The base is clearly impressed CLEWELL CANTON O for Canton Ohio. Clewell purchase pottery items from many of the Cincinnati area Pottery houses during the early 20th century and then added his own secret formulation of addition of metal surfaces and patina to the items. This is one of the finest forms for a smaller piece of Clewell we have ever seen. Clearly showing what are to represent as seems in the metal work and hand hammered studs/rivets. This gem stands about 2" tall and the top opening is about 3" across. No chips, cracks or repairs to this item. Very nice Vintage Art Deco Art Pottery Cronin Zephyr Hand Painted Tilted Ball Salt and Pepper Shakers. Made by the Cronin China Company of Minerva, Ohio Sold by Retailers as "Mardi Gras" and "Hollywood Colors". The Cronin China Zephyr line is distinguished by the Thin round shape with rings; angular and curved handles The set are Hand Painted with Black and Orange/Red flowers and have Red Bands on a White High Glazed ground. This line was produced primarily in the 1930's. Each shaker measures 2 3/4" tall and require new cork stoppers. No chips, cracks or repairs and only extremely light crazing. We offer for purchase this scarce example of dated 1881 Doulton Lambeth under-glaze Cameo Relief Stoneware Covered Pot! This item is decorated around the body with raised white cameo style relief patterning of Girls with Hats and Fans as well as impressed daisy and raised beaded design. The item measures 3 1/4" X 3 1/2". There is a small spot on one figure where the foot appears to have either chipped out or was popped off in the kiln. There are multiple underside lid rim chips as can be seen in our photo but this shape is most often found with no lid and this one has its original lid. Slightly faint impressed Doulton Lambeth mark with production year of 1881 and shape 893C and artist mark/device. Some normal early stoneware discoloration but a fine example of late 19th Century Doulton Lambeth Stoneware Art Pottery/Ceramics. 4 Sets of fully signed Henriot Quimper France Octagonal Peasant Man and Woman Cup and Saucers. This wonderful set of French Faience comes from the world famous Henriot Quimper. Each cup has colorful panels of florals and each cup has a panel with a Peasant Man and yet another with a Peasant Woman. The Saucers are also octagonal in shape and have panels of flowers. There are all the normal in the making waves in the glaze and fine pin holes in the glaze that one finds in this type of ware. One cup has a small in the making glaze skip on the round while another cup has several very small inside the rim glaze flakes which may have been caused by the production or after production. One cup has had it handle reattched but it is very stable and can be professionally repaired if you wish. We offer for purchase this very *RARE* Original J.B. OWENS Art Pottery Pedestal Base ONLY for a jardiniere. This item is decorated in a Matte Glaze that J.B Owens used to compete with the early decorated Matte Lines at Rookwood, Weller and Roseville potteries. The background is a very Deep Brown/Grey coloration and the Slip Hand Painted Tulips are on the front side only of the Pedestal. There are raised figures of Dolphins which appear around the base of the Pedestal. This item stands 16" tall and measures 9 1/2" across the base, 6 1/4" across the top and the inside top ring where the Jard will sit measures 5" across. There are some very minor scuffs and a small flat glaze flake to the painted surface at the bottom edge which really is of no harm for this item and its overall size and common base flakes that are usually encountered on Pedestals are present. There is some light white residue that I have not attempted to clean off and I will leave this for the next owner to decide if they wish to. Overall Very good condition and no Cracks or Repairs. We proudly offer this exceptional VINTAGE LARGE MAJOLICA Figure of a Dapper Man with a Club leaning against a tree trunk. This wonderful item is clearly hand sculpted and not created in a mold. Hand incised decoration to the clothing and sculpted trees. The running Majolica Glaze has allover light crazing in which the colors run from Green to brown, to yellow. This item is hollowed out inside the tree trunk, most likely to reduce weight of this heavy item. There is one very small glaze only flake on the sleeve of the character. No other chips, cracks or repairs. This Sculpture stands 12" X 6 1/2" X 4". The flake is about 1/16" and does not go into the ceramic body. I do not find any obvious marks but there appears to be some under the glaze letters on the very bottoms edge which are illegible. Wonderful Arts and Crafts MAJOLICA Ceramic Tiles. Each tile measures @ 6" X 6" and are very colorful and striking. The back of the tiles has a raised D.K. within a Diamond. Some minor edge chips to the front/sides, one tile has some areas of discoloration as seen in the image, one tile has some added cement still on the back surface while another tile is very slightly out of square from its original mounting we assume. This is a beautiful 3 footed Mottled Blue and Decorated Matte Glazed Art Pottery Bowl. This item displays a mottled Yellow/Brown 6 petaled flower on the interior while the exterior has colors of Blue and Green over a base color of Lavender. Very fine overall crazing and a somewhat hammered effect to the form on the exterior. There are 3 scrolled feet upon which the bowl rests. A single #6 painted on underglaze upon the base.
