MAGNIFICENT Antique Pate sur Pate Art Nouveau Vase. This low relief designed vase has 2 extremely detailed flying Putti with trails of smoke and Beard from the Stunning Figural Handle with the face of the Man in the Moon in Low Relief and equally fine detail. The base color for the vase is a medium Green while the decoration is Carved Back and Slip Applied in White and Pale Mint Green. The vase stands 10 1/2" tall and measures 4 1/2" across at the widest point. The back of the vase has a very small area where the glaze has a somewhat orange peel texture to it but it is in the making and of no harm and I mention it for accuracy sake only as id does not distract or detract from this wonderful work of art. The base has a number of Marks which include "3130 C (two horizontal line with a dot above in green) XI 2" The quality of this work is absolutely of high order and the porcelain itself is First Quality as well. This exceptionally early and most desirable Rene Lalique Bowl has the molded interior mark VDA FRANCE! This mark or stamp if you will, was used for a short time after the factory first opened in 1921. The VDA stands for Verrerie D' Alsace. Used only from 1921-1923 Rene Lalique built a large glassworks, Verrerie d'Alsace René Lalique et Cie, at Wingen sur Moder, in the east of France. (This factory remains in use by the Lalique Company today.) The opalescence shows primarily in the base of the Dahlia flowers while the highly unusual slightly shiny interior and exterior adds to the depth of this classic pattern. There is one tiny possibly from the making flea bite inside the rim. It is @ 1/16" or less as shown in our image. This large and very heavy *RARE* VDA Rene Lalique Dahlia Bowl measures 9 3/8" X 3 5/8" Some tiny in the making bubbles may be present and very light wear from shelf use and or straw marks from the manufacturing process which are absolutely not damage. We very proudly offer for purchase this absolutely OUTSTANDING & RARE Complete KENTON HILLS PORCELAIN (American Art Pottery) Jewel Porcelain LAMP BASE by WILLIAM E. HENTSCHELL. The complete and original Bronze and Brass hardware on this item is marked CREST 1715. Crest Lamp CO of Chicago is considered one of the finest lamp manufacturers of the early to mid 20th Century. They used only the highest quality Art Pottery, Porcelains and Art Glass to enhance their hardware. This Original and completely intact lamp base also happens to have a magnificent "KENTON HILLS" WILLIAM E. HENTSCHELL Artist signed Lamp Vase! This is an absolutely ORIGINAL Kenton Hills Lamp base as it is not a post production drilled lamp base. It is an actual lamp shaft mold created always to be a lamp base. The base is signed on the side with William E. Hentschell's signature and the interior rim of the base is impressed 177 followed by black under-glaze marks which I have not identified. As is common for most Kenton Hills Porcelain/Pottery high glaze items, this also has some crazing as can be seen in our images. The Kenton Hills Hentschell Lamp Vase measures 13" tall and 6 1/2" across at the widest point. The over-all height of this Kenton Hills/Crest Lamp base is 18 1/2" tall! This is one of the most desirable American Art Pottery/Porcelain companies available due to the fact that Kenton Hills was in production only from late 1939 and ended all production by 1943. Kenton Hills was located in Kentucky and was a firm created by several Rookwood Art Pottery employees which included William E. Hentschell, David Seyler and Harold Bopp. This item has it's original patina and even original dirt as we will not clean this item nor rewire it. This is absolutely and completely original, something that basically no other Kenton Hills Lamp available anywhere can claim. This item has no chips, cracks or repairs. Shipping/Handling and Insurance is $30.00 in the Continental U.S. Additional photo's are available upon request.

MAGNIFICENT Circa 1876 Slip Hand Painted Under-glaze Haviland Limoges style Glazed Pair of Cavalier Vases by F. LANDRY A. PARIS. This superb matched Pair of Vases measure 10 1/2" X 8 1/2" X 4". They are both supported upon 4 Legs and are Flattened on all sides. The Hand Painted UNDER GLAZE decoration is of Cavaliers with Brightly colored Hats and cloths and enhanced with TONS of Bright Shiny Original GOLD enamel work. There are some minor early restorations to glaze flakes on the feet and one near a top corner of one of the vases and one Glaze Flake on the edge of one of the Legs, but this type of time wear is expected on these soft Ceramic Vases, especially at the wonderful size that this pair are. The make the most wonderful statement in any well decorated room or on a Mantle. The base of one vase is impressed, F. LANDRY A. PARIS, while one vase is signed under-glaze Landry and the other vase is initialed F.L. (the slip painted initial have a little tail making it almost appear to be an E instead of F, but we know that the vases are done by the same hand so it must be an E. It is very possible that this pair of vases were created for the 1876 World Expo as the art work is superior to most any other slip under-glaze hand painted work of this time period.

We proudly offer for purchase this EXCEPTIONALLY RARE Antique NORTHWOOD Carnival Glass ICE AQUA PEACOCK AND URN 10" MASTER ICE CREAM SHAPE BOWL! This is the MOST sought after color in an especially beautiful pattern and highly desirable 10" ICS MASTER BOWL! Measuring 10" across and sitting 2 1/4" high. The partial STIPPLING below the Peacock adds to this stunning items sharp mold impression. The OUTSTANDING Iridescent and super FROSTY ICE AQUA color is just about the finest you will ever find. This ICE AQUA differs from Ice Blue by having more green to the coloration. This is possibly the only example known in this color/pattern/size of the Master Ice Cream Bowl. We wish to mention that there is a very minor in the making tool mark on the edge of the bowl which is absolutely NOT DAMAGE and there is a little bit of a rust coloration left from the tooling manufacturing process in the same area. This does not detract from this item at all and does not affect the value either. This is an INVESTMENT QUALITY Antique Northwood Ice Aqua Peacock & Urn Master Ice Cream Shape Bowl and we doubt you will find many of these in a decade of searching for them. Marked on the base wist Northwood's underlined capital N in a circle. This item may have the normal Vintage/Antique Carnival Glass anomalies present, such as straw marks, tool marks, slight spotting from the making in the finish, normal use shelf wear, small interior glass bubbles which are not broken or very slight seam or edge wear roughness to the touch with would not be considered as flakes.

We proudly offer for purchase this Antique Limoges Style American Art Pottery circa 1880 Rettig-Valentien (attributed)Canteen Vase and most likely fired at the Coultry Pottery in Cincinnati Ohio. This item is in the very same style, technique and identical shape as other known and signed works by Martin Rettig & Albert Valentien circa 1880. The Canteen Vase we offer has what appears to possibly be a small ARV. painted under-glaze on the lower side of the vase, as well as an additional series of letters/signature on the opposite side and it does appear to be the correct ARV signature for Albert Valentien and this is why the attribution has been made on this exemplary American Art Pottery Vase. There is light overall crazing as expected, and a spot where a finger has flattened part of one of the feet prior to firing. An exemplary early item measuring 10" X 9" X 2 1/2". The condition is excellent and the decoration of Pink Dogwood Flowers on a multicolored and broadly stroke painted ground. There are 1 or two extremely tiny flea bite sized flecks off one foot but it may well be from the making and almost not there at all. I mention this for accuracy sake and full disclosure. There are no chips, cracks or repairs and the item has been tested too and none are present. Shipping is $20.00 in the Continental U.S. Insurance fee will be calculated at the time of purchase.

We proudly offer for purchase one of the most unusual true Victorian Satin Cased Glass Wheel Cut/Carved Cameo Glass Vases you are bound to ever come across. This stunning item shades from a deep Raspberry at the top to an extremely pale pink at the base. The interior of the vase is a cased White opaque glass. This item has some normal air bubble between the layers as are commonly found on cased satin glass. The two Marie Kirshner inspired Handles are hand applied and one shows a somewhat rougher cut but this is not damage and was done in the making with no chips or cracks. The top of the item was sheared and cut/polished flat from the making. The Cameo Glass Wheel and Hand Carved Frieze displays a delicate Butterfly and Flowers and buds cut from the pink back to the opaque satin white glass. This item was not acid cut back but Wheel and hand tooled Cameo Cut in the style of early Webb or Stevens and Williams products. Due to the many styles which were both produced in England and Bohemia during the 1890's it is near impossible to determine if this item is of English or Bohemian origins. What I can guarantee is that the Cameo Glass cutting is Wheel and Hand Cut and of wonderful quality and far better than the images show. There is a very small GR Tool Cut into the side of the vase which must have been the artist who performed the extensive and professional cutting of the frieze. This item stands 10" tall and the top of the vase is @ 3 1/8" across. A stunning addition to any fine Art Glass collection. The Peach Blow coloration is also as good as it gets on this item. No chips, cracks or repairs. Shipping is $15.00 in the Continental U.S. with required shipping insurance which will be determined at the time of purchase.

We proudly offer for purchase this *RARE* Original "EMERALITE JR" Lamp with a Tan/Yellow Satin finish Cameo Glass Acid Cut Back Shade. This is one of the most difficult to find of all the Emeralite Jr. Lamp Shade versions, being made in CZECHOSLOVAKIA and Cameo Glass, Acid Cut Back. The ACB design is also enhanced with a slightly darker tan/umber rub to heighten the effect of the design. This early lamp was created by the H.G. McFaddin & Co. The Glass shade has a Tan/Caramel/Yellow exterior cased over White Opal glass. The original marked "EMERALITE JR. PAT APPL'D FOR" base appears to be of brass and retains its original spring activated clamp underneath the lamp to allow the user to either hang the lamp on the wall or clip onto a table surface or bed frame. The base also retains it's original socket which is stamped "Pat'd Feb.23.04". The lamp stands 12 1/2" tall to the top of the heat cap while the shade measures 5 5/8" X 4 1/8". The lamp has been rewired some time ago by its original owner and is in working order and there is no felt underneath the lamp base. There are a couple of very minor dings to the base/cap which are of little to, no affect and not very noticeable unless pointed out. There is also a minor crease in the neck of the base which appear to be very old but again, to very little affect to this original base. The shade is in extremely fine condition with only a few very tiny in the making grinding flakes to the under cap fitter rim. All are very tiny and from the original grinding process. There are no other issues to this *RARE* and very desirable version of the Emeralite Jr. adjustable lamp. Shipping fee will be determined at the time of purchase via Insured USPS Priority Shipping (2 separate packages).

We proudly offer for purchase this truly *RARE* ROYAL BAYREUTH (unmarked) POPPY FIGURAL WHITE AND YELLOW FINISH PORCELAIN BELL. As with all early Royal Bayreuth porcelain bells, this item has it's original wood ball shaped clapper intact. We have only seen a few of these forms in half a century of collecting Royal Bayreuth and this is the only one of my two that I have ever been willing to put up for purchase. The edge that the bell sits on is slightly sharp in a few spots from the sections where the finish is a little shelf worn. Measuring 3 1/2" X 2 7/8".
