MAGNIFICENT Circa 1876 Polychrome Limoges Glazed Pair of Cavalier Vases by F. LANDRY A. PARIS. This superb matched Pair of Vases measure 10 1/2" X 8 1/2" X 4". They are both supported upon 4 Legs and are Flattened on all sides. The Hand Painted UNDER GLAZE decoration is of Cavaliers with Brightly colored Hats and cloths and enhanced with TONS of Bright Shiny Original GOLD enamel work. There are some minor early restorations to glaze flakes on the feet and one near a top corner of one of the vases and one Glaze Flake on the edge of one of the Legs, but this type of time wear is expected on these soft Ceramic Vases, especially at the wonderful size that this pair are. The make the most wonderful statement in any well decorated room or on a Mantle. The base of one vase is impressed, F. LANDRY A. PARIS, while one vase is signed underglazed Landry and the other vase is initialed F.L. (the slip painted initial have a little tail making it almost appear to be an E instead of F, but we know that the vases are done by the same hand so it must be an E. It is very possible that this pair of vases were created for the 1876 World Expo as the art work is superior to most any other Polychromed work of this time period. Shipping is $20.00 in the Continental U.S. For International shipping rates, please contact us.

We proudly offer for purchase this Antique Limoges Style American Art Pottery circa 1880 Rettig-Valentien (attributed)Canteen Vase and most likely fired at the Coultry Pottery in Cincinnati Ohio. This item is in the very same style, technique and identical shape as other known and signed works by Martin Rettig & Albert Valentien circa 1880. The Canteen Vase we offer has what appears to possibly be a small ARV. painted under-glaze on the lower side of the vase, as well as an additional series of letters/signature on the opposite side and it does appear to be the correct ARV signature for Albert Valentien and this is why the attribution has been made on this exemplary American Art Pottery Vase. There is light overall crazing as expected, and a spot where a finger has flattened part of one of the feet prior to firing. An exemplary early item measuring 10" X 9" X 2 1/2". The condition is excellent and the decoration of Pink Dogwood Flowers on a multicolored and broadly stroke painted ground. There are 1 or two extremely tiny flea bite sized flecks off one foot but it may well be from the making and almost not there at all. I mention this for accuracy sake and full disclosure. There are no chips, cracks or repairs and the item has been tested too and none are present. Shipping is $20.00 in the Continental U.S. Insurance fee will be calculated at the time of purchase.

We proudly offer for purchase one of the most unusual true Victorian Satin Cased Glass Wheel Cut/Carved Cameo Glass Vases you are bound to ever come across. This stunning item shades from a deep Raspberry at the top to an extremely pale pink at the base. The interior of the vase is a cased White opaque glass. This item has some normal air bubble between the layers as are commonly found on cased satin glass. The two Marie Kirshner inspired Handles are hand applied and one shows a somewhat rougher cut but this is not damage and was done in the making with no chips or cracks. The top of the item was sheared and cut/polished flat from the making. The Cameo Glass Wheel and Hand Carved Frieze displays a delicate Butterfly and Flowers and buds cut from the pink back to the opaque satin white glass. This item was not acid cut back but Wheel and hand tooled Cameo Cut in the style of early Webb or Stevens and Williams products. Due to the many styles which were both produced in England and Bohemia during the 1890's it is near impossible to determine if this item is of English or Bohemian origins. What I can guarantee is that the Cameo Glass cutting is Wheel and Hand Cut and of wonderful quality and far better than the images show. There is a very small GR Tool Cut into the side of the vase which must have been the artist who performed the extensive and professional cutting of the frieze. This item stands 10" tall and the top of the vase is @ 3 1/8" across. A stunning addition to any fine Art Glass collection. The Peach Blow coloration is also as good as it gets on this item. No chips, cracks or repairs. Shipping is $15.00 in the Continental U.S. with required shipping insurance which will be determined at the time of purchase.

We proudly offer for purchase this *RARE* Original "EMERALITE JR" Lamp with a Tan/Yellow Satin finish Cameo Glass Acid Cut Back Shade. This is one of the most difficult to find of all the Emeralite Jr. Lamp Shade versions, being made in CZECHOSLOVAKIA and Cameo Glass, Acid Cut Back. The ACB design is also enhanced with a slightly darker tan/umber rub to heighten the effect of the design. This early lamp was created by the H.G. McFaddin & Co. The Glass shade has a Tan/Caramel/Yellow exterior cased over White Opal glass. The original marked "EMERALITE JR. PAT APPL'D FOR" base appears to be of brass and retains its original spring activated clamp underneath the lamp to allow the user to either hang the lamp on the wall or clip onto a table surface or bed frame. The base also retains it's original socket which is stamped "Pat'd Feb.23.04". The lamp stands 12 1/2" tall to the top of the heat cap while the shade measures 5 5/8" X 4 1/8". The lamp has been rewired some time ago by its original owner and is in working order and there is no felt underneath the lamp base. There are a couple of very minor dings to the base/cap which are of little to, no affect and not very noticeable unless pointed out. There is also a minor crease in the neck of the base which appear to be very old but again, to very little affect to this original base. The shade is in extremely fine condition with only a few very tiny in the making grinding flakes to the under cap fitter rim. All are very tiny and from the original grinding process. There are no other issues to this *RARE* and very desirable version of the Emeralite Jr. adjustable lamp. Shipping fee will be determined at the time of purchase via Insured USPS Priority Shipping (2 separate packages).

We proudly offer for purchase one of the most unique Antique/Vintage Fenton Carnival Glass Ice White Opalescent and VASELINE GLASS Holly pattern Plate. This item lights up at the Marie to a Brilliant Acid Green when a Black Light is held to it. What one might overlook initially is that the glass itself has a subtle ICE GREEN CAST! A iridescent finish also has true OPALESCENT which glows under black light as well. When you hold the bowl and look at the glass itself on the edge and the Marie (foot ring) the glass is the palest of Ice Green and when lit with the black light, glows yellow/green. We have NEVER seen or heard of another color in Fenton's Antique Holly like this one and believe that it may be a unique one of a kind. There are some tooling marks which oddly also glow opalescent under the black light. This plate measures 9 3/4" across, sits 1 3/8" high and measures 3 1/4" across the Marie. This item may have the normal Vintage/Antique Carnival Glass anomalies present, such as straw marks, tool marks, slight spotting from the making in the finish, normal use shelf wear, small interior glass bubbles which are not broken or very slight seam or edge wear roughness to the touch with would not be considered as flakes nor fleabites. No chips, cracks or repairs. Shipping is $16.00 in the Continental U.S. Strongly suggested insurance is available for an additional fee.
