Magnificent Late 18th Century to Early 19th Century Brass Chased Jardiniere. This wonderful item has a Chased design around the entire body of Bows, Ribbons, Pineapples and Fruit of Bounty. This item has a RICH DARK & DIRTY Patina which I will not attempt to touch. It was probably polished by servants in the 19th Century but appears to have not been touch since then. The item measures 12 1/4" X 10" and stands 8" high. The body has a rolled top edge and there are 4 Cast Brass or Bronze Hairy Paw Feet with Lions Heads and Breasts applied to the body by use of original studs that are flattened to the interior. These are very scarce today and this is an excellent example. There is the expected wear applicable to its age, but no apparent repairs or damage of any kind. Stunning Original AUSTRIAN (LOETZ, KRALIK ,RINDSKOPF, P/K) circa 1900 Iridescent Glass Vase! This beautiful vase is far more Striking in person than my poor images show. I did try, but the highly iridescent finish caused so much flash glare that this was the best I could do. The vase has its original Cut and Blown from the top Shear Top. The vase stands a whopping 10 1/4" tall and measures 4 3/4" across at the widest point. This item is truly a fine item produced most likely by Loetz, Kralik or Rindskopf at the same time period. This item has a very fluid shiny iridescence that will stun yours eyes upon viewing it and some unusual darker streaking to the finish as seen at the upper section of the item. No chips, cracks or repairs (a few miniscule orig shear top flea bites, not even flakes). Shipping Fee is $12.00 plus Optional Insurance Upon Request in the Continental U.S.

MAGNIFICENT Circa 1876 Slip Hand Painted Under-glaze Haviland Limoges style Glazed Pair of Cavalier Vases by F. LANDRY A. PARIS. This superb matched Pair of Vases measure 10 1/2" X 8 1/2" X 4". They are both supported upon 4 Legs and are Flattened on all sides. The Hand Painted UNDER GLAZE decoration is of Cavaliers with Brightly colored Hats and cloths and enhanced with TONS of Bright Shiny Original GOLD enamel work. There are some minor early restorations to glaze flakes on the feet and one near a top corner of one of the vases and one Glaze Flake on the edge of one of the Legs, but this type of time wear is expected on these soft Ceramic Vases, especially at the wonderful size that this pair are. The make the most wonderful statement in any well decorated room or on a Mantle. The base of one vase is impressed, F. LANDRY A. PARIS, while one vase is signed under-glaze Landry and the other vase is initialed F.L. (the slip painted initial have a little tail making it almost appear to be an E instead of F, but we know that the vases are done by the same hand so it must be an E. It is very possible that this pair of vases were created for the 1876 World Expo as the art work is superior to most any other slip under-glaze hand painted work of this time period.
