| We offer for purchase this Northwood Purple THREE FRUITS pattern Deep Plate with the very scarce Plain Back. This item is marked on the underside with the Northwood company logo of an underlined N withing a circle. This Deep Plate measures 8 3/4" across and sits 1 7/8" high. There is almost no wear to the high points of the interior raised fruit, which is highly unusual in itself for this patter. There is an in the making straw mark around 1/3rd of the interior of the plate. This is not damage and is one of the many in the making anomalies that this particular Deep Plate possesses. The reverse side of this Deep Plate has several deep dimples from the manufacturing tooling of the shape of this item. Also some in the making tooling marks as seen in the images as well as its fair share of in the making straw marks. This particular pattern and shape often have a fair amount of in the making Vintage anomalies such as straw marks,dimples, bumps, extra bits of glass on the Marie and this item fits into all of those categories. Still this item is as it was created by Northwood over 100 years ago and it does have the SCARCE Plain Back with a grayish mirror iridescent finish. This item has no chips, cracks or repairs.
