| We offer for purchase this scarce example of dated 1881 Doulton Lambeth under-glaze Cameo Relief Stoneware Covered Pot! This item is decorated around the body with raised white cameo style relief patterning of Girls with Hats and Fans as well as impressed daisy and raised beaded design. The item measures 3 1/4" X 3 1/2". There is a small spot on one figure where the foot appears to have either chipped out or was popped off in the kiln. There are multiple underside lid rim chips as can be seen in our photo but this shape is most often found with no lid and this one has its original lid. Slightly faint impressed Doulton Lambeth mark with production year of 1881 and shape 893C and artist mark/device. Some normal early stoneware discoloration but a fine example of late 19th Century Doulton Lambeth Stoneware Art Pottery/Ceramics.
