| Very Scarce fully Marked "LIBBEY CUT GLASS TOLEDO -O-" hand painted Mellon Ribbed Dish. This item is decorated with Shasta Daisies on an Ivory Ground. This companies products are very scarce and hard to come by. Very similar to those produced at about the same time as Mt. Washington, Monroe's Wavecrest and Smith Brothers. This item was blown from the top and has a sheared top rim, which is not decorated as most Wavecrest and Mt. Washington items were. It is closer to those produced at Smith Brothers. The glass itself is very THIN and Translucent. This item measures 5 1/2" across and stands 2 1/2" tall. There is one small spot of color loss below the flowers as can be seen in our image. It appears that a paint bubble popped while the colors were being fired on leaving the outline. No damage to this item. Shipping is $11.00 in the Continental U.S. | ||
