| Very nice Blue and White Romantic Staffordshire Transfer Dish. This lovely item shows a Romantic View of a Couple on the Shore looking out past what appear to be Italian Villa's located upon a River with Fisherman in a boat in the distance. The outer pattern also shows Friezes of Italianate buildings. There is a British Registry Mark on the reverse that dates this item to August 23, 1848. There is some slightly darkened area on the reverse of the dish but overall it is in very nice conditions. The dish measures 5 1/2" across. No chips, cracks or repairs.
