An elaborate Jizhou covered box from Song dynasty, China, decorated with finely drawn peony motifs at the centre of the lid. This loverly powder box is in excellent condition with some incursions found on surface and base. Otherwise, there is no crack, no chip (small nicks on edge) and no restoration. A rare large size bowl with beautiful white glaze from Northern Song / Liao dynasty China, which was decorated with finely carved lotus petals on its exterior. This elegant bowl probably came from Ding or Northern Klins of China. You can see some pooling of glaze at the bowl interior and spur mark inside the unglazed foot ring. There is a faint hairline and a few glaze crackles and some soil incursions, otherwise, no chip, no crack and no restoration. Diamenter: 184mm; Height: 75mm

A large blue and white Jar/Guan from Ming Zhengde period, decorated with classic lotus scrolls. This rare Guan has a few long old cracks across and two rough repairs at mouth rim. A few small holes used for old repair staples (but removed) were found. Very attractive shape and in very good size as well, also has excellent glossy glaze. Height:30.0cm Width: 29.5cm
