This is a Los Castillo design made by Hilario Lopez who worked for several Tallers through his career(of which one was Margot de Taxco) and he was an accomplished Maestro. The construction is open backed repousse but it is framed in heavy silver making a respectable 80 grams heavy. There is lots of bead work executed on this design and it is in impeccable condition. If you could find an original Los Castillo of this rare design it would cost at least twice what this one costs. The earrings weigh...

Made by Margot Van Voorheis this necklace proves that not all great things come in big packages. The workmanship is complicated to say the least.
