This Los Castillo early hallmarked necklace was designed by Margot Van Voorhies when wed to Antonio Castillo. Together they started the shop Los Castillo. This is one of the most stunning designs in the Mexican Silver Renaissance. The length is 18 inches long and a fraction over 1.75 inches tall. Signed as shown this Lotus necklace is dramatic, made of thick silver repousse and does command an audience when gazed upon. It is also Mona Lisa's favorite as you see her in it. the drop is 4.5 inches across and 4.5 inches down. For size the 4.5in down is also part of the wearable of 17 inches. No damage anywhere. This Bracelet is a design most recognized by Fred Davis. Hallmarked Mexico Silver and being 7.25in. long and 1.5in. tall makes this bracelet quite a statement maker. The bezels are very well made and there are no dents or chips to the stones or silver. Even though it has an open air design it still weighs 65 grams heavy. Very soft and silky to the touch it is a pleasure to wear.

This is a Los Castillo design made by Hilario Lopez who worked for several Tallers through his career(of which one was Margot de Taxco) and he was an accomplished Maestro. The construction is open backed repousse but it is framed in heavy silver making a respectable 80 grams heavy. There is lots of bead work executed on this design and it is in impeccable condition. Rafael Melendez worked for Spratling when he first opened his taller de las Delicias. Melendez left to open his own Taller in 1939. This is one of his earliest marks that was done in 980 silver. Los Castillo's fern clamper is simply the best. No other leaf can compare. The weight is heavy at 101 grams. The height is 3.75 inches. For fit the inside diameter is 2.5 in. I believe this will best fit up to a 6.5in. wrist. There are no dents,damage or repairs. The leaves meet exactly where they are supposed to with no overlap. A superior treasure.

The entire 15in. chain is composed of the tiniest granulated beads which are then channel set throughout with each links length measuring 3/16th of an inch. This signed William Spratling ribbons necklace will be a go to necklace for every part of an active life style. The silver is thick and flowing with movement. The hallmark has a double strike with ribbons having a difficult space but is clearly marked. Dimensions are: 20 inches long, each link fits right between the 1 inch mark. Margot was a premier designer in the Mexican Silver Renaissance and certainly the most accomplished female artist.

Classic Antonio Pineda bracelet that is board room sleek with a look that goes anywhere. The bracelet has a 2.5in. diameter and 5/8th in. high stature. There is a light amount of patina which will be left for the buyer to do with as they prefer. The hallmark is signed correctly as shown. This Quetzalcoatl necklace and brooch is a true sculpture. Beautifully detailed with 107 grams of heavy silver repousse. The wearable length is 18 inches long. The drop / brooch is 3in. and 3.75in. tall. There is no damage and a gorgeous natural patina. The feathered repousse chain links easily unhook to become a brooch. We are offering a necklace marked Silver Mexico and it weighs 60 grams of heavy repousse.
