This is a Los Castillo design made by Hilario Lopez who worked for several Tallers through his career(of which one was Margot de Taxco) and he was an accomplished Maestro. The construction is open backed repousse but it is framed in heavy silver making a respectable 80 grams heavy. There is lots of bead work executed on this design and it is in impeccable condition. If you could find an original Los Castillo of this rare design it would cost at least twice what this one costs...

William Spratling's largest chain design is a first phase hallmark and one inch tall. Being 8in. long it is suitable for a man or a woman. The fit is like a bangle for a woman and the hook clasp does takes up some of the wearable length. There is a curve/groove running down it's center with great dimension which is accentuated with the solid silver being 7mm thick. The color is beautiful with almost pure silver of at least 980 silver weighing 130 grams...

The size is currently a 6.5 and can be sized by most jewelers. The face of the ring is one inch tall and 7/8th's inch wide. The thick silver weight is 16grams. This ring with a different stone is featured in an interview with Antonio Pineda in modernsilver.com by Patrick Kapty 11/11/2000...

Signed Fred Davis FD with a most tiny eagle 22 on the tongue of the clasp and this is a beauty on. The wearable length is approximately 16in. and the width is barely over one inch tall. No chips to the stone and no damage anywhere. It is designed to sit at an angle so it is not measured by the circumference of the inside circle but the outside circumference much like many of the Margot de Taxco pectorals...

This is an exceptional work of art by H. Santana. The silver is thick and weighs 103 grams. The drop has 3 panels of 2.5in. x 2.75in. and displays a large presence. With the chain being exceptionally long of 18 inches then plus the length of the drop, you have enough to make it a custom fit. I am listing a cut work Santana obsidian bracelet that is a match for the necklace. The cut work is quite endearing with the hearts and scrolls of swirls. The condition is beautiful with no flaws, just LOOK ...

Having a wearable length of 15.5in. and a weight of 71 grams, it is a substantial piece. How remarkable that all the stones have no chips or cracks after all this time. Some would say this is Antonio Pineda's most loved design. His work is masterful and with a 1.75in. tall presence it commands center stage.
