This is a very rare Spratling Lariat necklace that is 20.25 inches long. The drop is 3.75in. long and consists of a barrel cut amethyst stone with great depth and dimension that is placed in the middle of the drop. The stones are clear and gorgeous. The briolette amethyst dangles are also clear, gorgeous and glowing. Properly hallmarked with a raised ws that was used in the latter part of the 1940's. There are no flaws on this treasure and it is an excellent example of Spratling's work...

Matilde Poulat is known as the Matl hallmark for her Mexico City Folkloric style of designs. She has left a legacy of beauty and this work of art is no different. It is jeweled with turquoise and amethyst and sits with a presence of 1.5in. tall. Properly hallmarked as shown for one of her early works. This jewel has the cut outs under the stones that help them glow. I love it when I find these with a comfortable wearable length of 17 inches...
