Outstanding and designed by a most talented Maestro signed IC. The combination of the carved Chinese florets and the crafted amethyst swirl links are simply so rare of a find that it is truly a treasure for the most discerning collector. In absolutely perfect condition the necklace is 15.25in. long. The weight is a hefty 86 grams of very high silver content that feels like silky butter in your hands. The Chinese carvings are a bit over one inch in diameter with one being rose quartz and the other being pale amethyst. The links that make up the chain are also thick and unique with swirls that are one of a kind starting flat and folding over with the curl on the opposite side. This treasure reminds us of the Asian influence within the Taxco group of artists. We find these unique pieces by Los Castillo and Margot from time to time that incorporated Asian elements and this acquisition is certainly one of a kind. The price reflects it's eminence and a hard fought auction that I did not want to lose. A joy to wear, just LOOK AT THAT NECKLACE!
