Offered here is a Fred Davis properly hallmarked as shown, Mexican silver bracelet. The Matching necklace shown is currently listed separately on my site. This bracelet is constructed of a thick silver base with repousse top being a floral design which boasts amethyst cabochons. It fits more like a bangle with a slight oval to the shape and lays beautifully on the arm. The stones are on the top half of the piece and the diameter is 2 3/8th's inches and will fit most. The weight is 45 grams and it is one inch tall. Fred Davis is written about in Penny Morrill's books on Mexican Silver. His pieces are rare and this one is seldom seen. Please note that the color of the amethyst cabochons reflect the amount of lighting used in photographing each picture and the angle the light goes through them. You may see a difference from picture to picture and cabochon to cabochon. The stones are very well matched.
