When I saw this necklace I was rather stunned by it's workmanship and unusual beauty. Obviously Modernist but also Brutalist. The smaller beads are also all handmade and of varied sizes. The clear stone is non purified rock crystal and in it's raw form with facets. You can see some striation inside it but it is mostly clear. The large beads have been heated up until they literally blew up. Upon cooling they shrunk inward. The artist signed as shown. Another added surprise is the handmade little beads inside the large sterling balls for viewing. Fits a 17in. wearable. I am going to say that the largest 2 balls are 1.25in. tall. This is no light weight at 133 grams. There is a natural patina that just adds to the definition of the wrinkles and character. It is signed 925 Mex Silver and a M with a curl coming off the top of the far left part of the M. There are some other interesting Marks above the 925 Mark but I can not make out what it is. I do know that it is not a T-Mark of any kind. One of the most impressive pieces I have found lately, just LOOK AT THAT NECKLACE!
