Maestro Abraham Paz was known to bring to fruition the designs of Fred Davis. Correctly hallmarked as shown and displaying low sheen Obsidian marquis cut stones that are without damage. PLEASE NOTE: THE FIRST AND FIFTH PICTURE SHOW A STONE THAT APPEARS DAMAGED IN IT'S CENTER. WHAT YOU SEE IS THE SHEEN GLOWING FROM THE OBSIDIAN. The length is 16.5in. wearable and the weight displays quality at 112 grams. His work is shown in the Mexican Silver books written by Penny Morrill. You see the shields design mostly in cabochons and the marquis cut is definitely rare, just LOOK AT THAT NECKLACE!
