Antonio Pineda designed for Tono from 1945 to 1948 per ONLINE ENCYCLOPEDIA OF SILVER MARKS,HALLMARKS AND MAKERS' MARKS. It is an earlier work of Antonio Pineda and these are the pieces that I like the most as they flow with swirls and reflect gorgeous silhouettes. The Amethyst are lozenge shape with a variety of white streams of color, solid color and some striations. All the stones are original to the mountings. The silver is thick that wraps around the stones and then ends in a twist on the ends connecting to each other. When I first saw this necklace in a picture I did not believe it would lay well. In my hands I saw that it has flexibility and does not tip forward and is absolutely stunning on. Please inquire for more information on this rare treasure. The weight is 95 grams heavy with the stones being 1.25in. long. The wearable length is 17in. There is no damage and the patina is warm, just LOOK AT THAT NECKLACE!
