This is a modern, huge (over 2 ft) nutcracker / Christmas decoration, in the form of a toy soldier, & made from solid wood.

The wooden soldier stands on a wooden base, and has been finely finished in bright painted colours, and is complete with a faux fur hat, beard, & hair.

The 'tail' at the rear of the soldiers coat is actually a lever which, when raised & lowered, opens & closes his mouth (this is the nutcracker part although it looks that it has never been used, & I wouldn't imagine it would be very practical).

Condition is Excellent, the soldier looks like new with the exception of a small (1 cm) scratch to the paint, just below his belt.

The soldier is very large, measuring approx 24 1/2" tall.
