Original Art Deco Peach Glass Circular Wall Mirror

This is a completely original Art Deco period round wall mirror, with all original fittings, & dating to the mid 1920's to 30's.

The large central mirror is convex, giving a 'fish eye' type image.

The central mirror is edged with four curved Peach Glass mirrors, each one having 4 bevelled edges, & forming a perfect circle.

The 'frame' is of plywood construction, with a compressed board back panel & complete with the original hanging fixtures.

Condition is fantastic, amazing given the mirror is around 80 years old. There is a tiny (approx 2mm square) bit of 'foxing' on the edge of one peach glass mirror panel, & the large convex mirror has a few tiny (pinhead) dots of foxing (really difficult to notice).

The backing board (at the rear of the mirror) has been pulled at some point, tearing it from the bottom pins & causing two small tears in the board. This extremely minor & unseen, & does not affect the mirror in any way at all (The backing board is a thin, flexible board, & is purely a finishing touch for the rear of the mirror, & easily replaced).

The mirror is approx 15 1/4" in diameter (approx 39 cm).

Overall, a stunning & high quality original Art Deco mirror which, although it's style is very evocative of the Deco period, it would look great in any contemporary setting.
