This is a pair of 7" early/mid Victorian brass ejector candlesticks in a baluster pattern, almost certainly English in origin, & dating to around 1850 - 70. The sticks have cut corner square bases, and they both have their original push-up ejection mechanisms, although both are seized & one of the rods is missing it's button Condition of the sticks is Good. The only points to note are that there are a few spots of tarnishing, the socket wall on one stick has a few very shallow & very small bruises, & that the edge of the base on one stick has a small chip. Each stick is approx 7" tall (approx 17.7cm), with a base measurement of approx 3 1/8" square (approx 7.8cm). Overall, a fine pair of small Victorian candlesticks, in good condition for their 160 years.
